SoxPride56
Matt DeSalvo (1-2, 5.40 ERA; 0-1, 3.1 IP, 4 ER VS. White Sox in 2007) vs. Jon Garland (3-3, 3.91 ERA; 1-0, 7IP, 1 ER VS. Yankees) I figured it is my turn to try and turn this team around, as this is my first game thread of the year. Hopefully I bring some luck to the team!!! Harry Chappas
Wasn't it the Yankee pen that began the complete lockdown of the Chicago White Sox? I believe they got to De Salvo and Mussina and then Luis Vizcaino shut them down........
elrockinMT
With the Rocket not pitching it will give the ESPN announcers more opportunity to talk about how bad both the Sox and Yankees have been this year. Maybe their great insight will tell us something... Edited June 4, 2007 by elrockinMT

He usually starts his next sentence when he's speaking about halfway through the last word of the previous sentence.

The Ginger Kid
Six games out in the loss column (and tied with minny in the loss column). With as horrible as this team has played, it boggles the mind that they're still within striking distance.
The Ginger Kid
Tim Brown has a column on Yahoo today about the Yankees still being alive, yet they are 12.5 back and six games below .500. that's comedy

chisox72
Bernstein just read the lineup for tonight and another shake-up is taking place... Konerko to the 6th spot and Crede to 9th. Hopefully this will help them both get their s*** together. From the top of my head: Owens Iguchi Thome Dye AJ Konerko Mack Uribe Crede *IF* we are going to get this game in tonight, can we f***ing win it please?? B ) Look for lots of pop ups from the 8 and 9 holes tonight C) Is the weather warm enough for our bats to heat up yet?
