I've probably seen him pitch 9 or 10 times the past 3 years of HS and he is tough. Got a good head on his shoulders too. His fastball (mid 90s) doesn't have quite the movement you'd like...but overall I really like this kid. Big kid 6-7". If he doesn't go in the first round I know he's committed to Oregon State. He may never hit for much power, although scouts think he could one day swat 20 home runs a la Johnny Damon. For now he has enough power to find the gaps, and has plenty of speed to turn doubles into triples. He also handles the bat extermely well and manages the strike zone well beyond his years.
