SoxFan1
QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 05:55 PM) I'm licking this draft so far, get a second baseman! Thats sick bro.
danman31
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 05:59 PM) If I didn't text you, than who did I text? Speaking of which, you never responded to my PM about Prospect of the Month. And if Griffith goes to FIU over pro ball the Sox should be embarrassed. FIU sucks. SoxFan1
Stepped out only to come back and find out we ended up getting the guy some people had us picking at 25, at 89....solid.

He was thought to be a late first rounder.
greasywheels121
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 03:03 PM) Love the selection of Parker by the Diamondbacks. He's the type of pitcher I'd love for the White Sox to have. Perhaps next year they'll have an opportunity. From the Fort Wayne area too; good luck to him. I'm liking the scouting report from MiLB. Is he committed to a big time school, Texas U or Rice perhaps, that's scaring teams away? Or is he repped by Boras? Heads22
BTW, last nite I heard some stuff that some scouts were saying about my boy Eggy. They said he had good command, threw a low 90s fastball, a sinking fastball, and a changeup. Overall it sounds like they had a solid impression. Maybe the Sox scouts are following this thread so that they can make Flash happy. I suppose we'll find out.

Is he committed to a big time school, Texas U or Rice perhaps, that's scaring teams away? Or is he repped by Boras? Must be one of those. He's a phenominal athlete. Batted almost .600, had an ERA around 0.70 this year. Stud football player too. Most projected him to go in the supplemental round
