Bulls*** Actually it's because she's white. Wll that's what Al Sharpton is saying: "This early release gives all the appearances of economic and racial favoritism that is constantly cited by poor people and people of color," the civil-rights leader and president of National Action Network said Thursday, according to the Drudge Report. "There are any number of cases of people who handle being incarcerated badly and even have health conditions that are not released

Kyyle23
This is the oddest court case/media phenomenon/jail sentence since OJ. Who would have thought that a DUI could bring so much attention, I bet Paris didnt. Could we set up a poll on this thread? Is that possible, to set up a poll in a thread that is already created? Does Paris Deserve to serve her entire 45 day sentence? And why do you think she does or doesnt? Do you even really care(this should get some good responses, lol)
GoodAsGould
I thought it was a bit harsh for the crime she did. In some cases celebrities get off a lot easier than they should but in this case I thought she got punished more than she deserved because of the celebrity status. Now on her getting out early because of emotional issues or whatevr, I think thats kind of bogus.

Apparently now there is some bru-ha-ha going on in the court room because she has been allowed to apprear via telephone. and i guess it was another decision that the judge is supposed to make that the sherriff's office made. The judge has sent a police car to Hilton's house to drag her sorry butt into court. I swear i would love to hear that Kathy Hilton bribed someone to get Paris out of jail and has to go in herself. SoxFan562004
I think they should have given her a cellmate, it probably will make it easier for her. They can give her some young 20 year old non-violent offender. Martha Stewart wasn't in isolation

Dick Allen
Can't do the time, don't do the crime. Wasn't this a probation violation? Maybe if anyone ever enforced rules with her, she wouldn't think they don't apply to her. Make her stay the entire time. It actually may make her a better person.
