Paris' father Rick is still in the courtroom. A Sheriff inside the courtroom tells TMZ that officers are taking Hilton straight from the courtroom to Lynwood. The reason I don't clock some old lady on her head and steal her purse isn't because I'm afraid of the consequences. It's because I'm a decent human being that knows right from wrong. Punishment is definitely a deterrent in some cases, but in others it's just common decency. Penalties keep us in check as kids....Do this and you lose your allowance. Do this and you're grounded. Do this and no driving privledges? I think eventually you grow up and just start knowing right from wrong. You don't need that threat hanging over your head to do the right thing. Now there's tons of adults out there that have never learned this. Be it from not having a parent around to teach them right from wrong or from being spoiled rotten and always getting your way. Paris has never been held accountable for anything...It's too bad the first time is prison instead of a grounding, but I think this will definitely serve as a deterrent for her in the future. That's why you would think that Paris' parents would be overly concerned about her driving drunk and out partying all the time. Having heard those two in the press time and time again...you can tell they look down on most of us and you would think they wouldn't want to give up the cash to the first person Paris hurts or kills. Stuff like yelling out "May I have your autograph?" at the judge or attempting to merely phone into court will probably just get you in more trouble.
