Dick Allen
I used to get excited when the Sox got the lead, but unless Buerhle can go 9, they are going to need several more runs.

caulfield12
Anderson, Crede, Rowand (especially first two years), Sweeney, Borchard, Fields...can we get ONE player with a short, compact swing to develop in our system?

He K'd agst a LH pitcher in a 90 mph...where is the bat speed? Nice work terrero... His swing has a tendancy to get real long. He'll K a lot when he's not going well. The GO to the shortstop isn't any better and can actually be worse than a K with a guy on 2B. Dick Allen
QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) The GO to the shortstop isn't any better and can actually be worse than a K with a guy on 2B. I'd rather have him put the ball in play. The SS might bobble it, or throw it away.

South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 01:38 PM) I'd rather have him put the ball in play. The SS might bobble it, or throw it away. Either way, Fields and Dye both failed with a runner in scoring position. The only difference is Fields is here from AAA because of an injury, and Dye is supposed to be one of our main cogs in the offense. Iguchi is getting slower. briguy27
did anybody notice when everett got to first, they showed the dugout view, and the astros first base coach's jersey had the red jersey obviously, but instead of having gold as dominant stitched over black, he had black dominant stitched over gold odd...
