I half expect 15+ strikeouts and a no hitter tomorrow. They need to trade Dye and Iguchi, and throw Buehrle in there if the Sox don't think they can sign him. Kenny not trading Crede this offseason has turned out to be a HUGE mistake. They need to get top talent for them. I just have a feeling that KW will butcher the trades and we will be set back a long time. That said, I don't really think that 6 runs should be the litmus test for starters. I mean, our bullpen, yeah, but our starters? Anyway, he's prone to good months and bad months. I'm fairly confident that he'll put up some truly lousy ones before the year's over because, well, he's done that for about 6 years now. But the signing looks good. It's a short-term deal for an incredibly durable pitcher who's had average production with great peripherals. It's good value, exactly what KW should be looking for. No matter what we did this offseason, we were a 3rd place team, which goes back to poor drafting, poor depth, and poor general talent in the organization.
