So, it looks like the odds of us getting shut out two straight days is a very good possibility. To go along with the fact that Hamels is a filthy SOB, we've never seen him before. This has the makings of a rough night of baseball, once again.

If I could choose between Hamels, Santana, and Peavy, I'd take Hamels in a heart beat.

personally id take the other two....but even if you do take hamels, its not like hes there completely yet

can someone explain to me when cole hamels became the greatest pitcher ever to live?

yes he is a fantastic young pitcher, and i know our offense is struggling, but please lets give his nutsack a little air...its not like hes santana yet

Ok, when the Sox horrid offense make pitchers with the likes of Chris Sampson, Adam Eaton, Tyler Clippard, Matt DeSalvo, Dustin McGowan, etc. look like Hall of Famers, it makes one wonder how bad they will look against the NL's top K and Wins leader. Just saying

This is the first game I'm gonna catch and see. And the only reason I'm watching is because I have a man crush on Cole Hamels. What a stud. I will defend him being in the top 5 of pitchers in the game now and throughout.. foeva!

And your crazy. And this is comming from probably the biggest Hamels fan. I love Hamels but over Santana and even a heartbeat? I'll have what your smoking. Not quite yet even though I had him in my top 5 and Santana was left off cause I wanted to change it up a bit. :D

On your team or to face?? Because only a fool would take Hamels over the likes of those 2, not to mention at least 10 others.

The reasoning behind my pick is because he is what, 23-24? He is young, from what I have seen, it doesn't like he should ever have any arm problems, and will only get better within the next 2-3 years. I think if I am going to build a rotation around a guy, Hamels is that guy.

And to think, the White Sox came within 1 pick of drafting him, but instead got Royce Ring. But then again, he still would have probably been traded for Robby Alomar.

It's scary to think that the Sox would have been reprimanded by the Major League Baseball offices during Spring Training if they fielded this lineup.

Contreras on the mound with Hall behind the plate.....I predict the Phillies steal 6 bases today.

Think positive like 4 steals or something. They can steal all they want as long as they don't score. I am hoping Jose steps up and keeps the Phils under control.

This Phils lineup just seems like it's too good for our lineup to overcome. Tonight is one of those games where you just have to hope we can hit a 3 run homer if we manage to get a few guys on base.

What is the over/under on the White Sox getting 3 hits or less? I just might take those odds.

And at least 4 wild pitches. And a pass ball or 5.
