A little bit of a stretch, but Dye getting hot during this next month could change the franchise....

Would you agree then that today is the perfect type of game for us to lose then (if we're going to lose, that is).

our rotation is set. the bullpen comes and goes. clearly they went this year. next year, aardsma could have a career year. relief arms are the most difficult to guage.

so i see people wanting changes, well how can KW go about them? i can't remember the last big fish the white sox caught in free agency. and via trade, KW is not likely to get much since all of the teams know chicago is sucking. that is unless he trades buehrle. but i'd rather get another 1st round pick and let buehrle walk, unless the deal was overwhelmingly in our favor.

The minute he gets hot enough to get Colletti sniffing for some real talent exchange, then you pull the trigger. The dodgers are the right team. We just need to keep them interested before Cincy decides to snap up our prospects.

The Sox have a grand total of 3 starting position players under contract for next season and a clusterf*** of questionable talent to fill a few of those holes. This team is in shambles.

Oh yeah....it's not out of the question to think this team might be competing with the Rangers next year for the worst team in the AL. At least we'll get to see Vazquez and Contreras throwing 85 mph.

It's amazing, the Sox have a total of 10 guaranteed contracts for next season totaling ~$63.5M. I don't know what the hell is going to happen this offseason but the 2008 opening day roster is going to look a whole hell of a lot different than '07.

Next year. LOL We are going for that this year.

Good, maybe KW can assemble a roster of players who are not overpaid and actually care about each and every at bat.

Don't count on it....if KW can make the Sox a .500 team next year, my faith in him will be restored.

Luis Terrero has been someone that I have dogged. But he is producing at a decent clip in the CF position. If he can stay 265 to 275 ish with that kind of power, he could be the guy.

I'll give Terrero credit. He has actually done a solid/good job when he's been in there, and right now he should be in there every day. Saying that, it's funny to hear DJ call him a dangerous hitter.

We get 3 runs tonight, all on solo HR's.

At this point, the perfect scenerio the next month is the Sox losing 4-3 every game, with Dye accounting for about 40% of the runs created.

With things the way they are, its painfully obvious to us that this team has no shot in hell at anything past September. However my worst fear is they decided to get hot for 3 weeks, creep back into respectability, the media starts making this out as a comeback, and the Sox become buyers at the deadline.

Trade Terrero for Broxton.

This team isnt crawling back. This is the easiest part of our schedule and we are getting bent over by NL teams. The only fear I have is that KW ignores what you see on the field, and decides to go for a desperate move to compete this year.

Holy cow, he smoked that. That a boy Luis....I'm a believer.

I'm telling you the guy can play, I despised him coming into this season but he's shown me a lot. I would have no problem with him being plugged into the opening day lineup in CF next year. Great D, great arm, good speed, good power all from a 27 year old making the league minimum. A guy like that could save the 2007 White Sox.

Luis Terrero can sure hit but he sucks in CF. i'd love to have him as our every day LF over Podz.

His arm is clearly a RF or CF capable arm. Personally, I see him as a legit RF where he wouldn't have to cover as much ground, but his arm is definately RF capable.
