Someone get going on that... I'm not shocked by the SCOOP~! you dropped with Anderson requesting to be dealt. However, I think people are going to be really surprised by the lack of action this team has at the deadline. I don't foresee Kenny making a lot of deals like you guys we're discussing. Mark B is one of the best pitchers in Sox history. He's about to be let go? The Cardinals better give us some damn good players for him. I mean losing Mark B and Dye will not improve this team. Are we planning on losing 110 games???? Be careful what you wish for with trades this time of year. Our minor leaguers haven't exactly come up and looked like studs. I can't believe how s*** we've become since winning it all. It's the 85 Bears revisited. It could be a long time before we contend again. Ditka poorly handled the 1987 strike, he poorly handled the McMahon/Flutie situation, he was a clown of a coach after showing great promise early in his career. The fact the 1985 Bears, with that amazing talent, never even got back to the Super Bowl and were blown out in two of the three following HOME playoff games inidcates a serious issue at the time.
