Dick Allen
For a second, I thought KW re-acquired him.

Gregory Pratt
If we're going to lose to the Marlins tonight, I hope he hits one to the concourse.

greg775
Oh boy. He and Olivo will go off this series. It's been that kind of year. Maggs, Hurt, Rowand, Marte, Howry, Sammy, Kip (kidding) where are you guys now that we need you?

Friend of Nordhagen
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 01:08 PM) White Sox organizational development failure personified. Ding.
Steff
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 01:08 PM) White Sox organizational development failure personified. Oh no.. there's been plenty of those. You've got to add asinine monetary payout to the description if you're going to be accurate in describing Joe.
LVSoxFan
I never liked Borchard (although that was a nice dinger) but I'm glad for him that he's enjoying a career down there. Now if only the players we DO keep could do the same...
Punch and Judy Garland
I like Joe, he always seemed to work hard and was accountable, even if he flamed out here. I miss Mo too, he seemed to be one of the dominant personalities on our team. I think he made people laugh a bit. I remember Ozzie saying he was insane
GaelicSoxFan
Borchard had holes in two places: 1. his swing 2. his head The Sox could've fixed #1 if he would've fixed #2. He thought the only way to get to the big league was to, as Earl Weaver once said, "hit the *bleeping* ball out the ballpark".

southsider2k5
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 18, 2007 -> 06:38 PM) From what Boz has said, he's a nice guy, and incredibly smart too. ^^^ The hitting clinic he gave years ago at Soxfest was topnotch. It was one of the single best clinics I have ever seen. The kid is incredibly smart, and a student of the game. Too bad it never translated to the playing field. WSoxMatt
I always liked Liefer, he ALWAYS hustled out a grounder or popup
aboz56
Classy guy and from what I understand, that's why the Marlins have kept him around. They've dumped several other OFs and have hung on to Borchard despite his sub .200 batting average. Apparently they like that he's a good guy in the clubhouse and a hard worker.
