Gene Honda Civic
McCulloch, like Floyd, has really turned it around since the calendar turned to June. 27.2 IP, 19H, 1HR, 2BB, 26K in 4 June starts. Plus a GO/FO ratio that's just a hair under 3:1.

Gregory Pratt
I want to know velocity on Lin.
DBAHO
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 12:52 AM) I want to know velocity on Lin. I think when we signed him there were reports he threw in the low 90's, but in his 1st outing in either spring training or minor league ball (can't remember off the top of my head) he only threw about the mid 80's I think. 29thandPoplar
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jun 23, 2007 -> 10:00 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think when we signed him there were reports he threw in the low 90's, but in his 1st outing in either spring training or minor league ball (can't remember off the top of my head) he only threw about the mid 80's I think. Here's a link to an article about the game and Lin's performance. Apparantly he likes to throw inside. http://www.tricities.com/tristate/tri/spor...06-23-0013.html
NorthSideSox72
I've updated Lin's AAP thread - thanks for the info danman and 29th/Poplar. GP, about his velocity, see the AAP thread and the linked articles. He was supposed to be 90+, but in ST he was nowhere near that, so there were worries about it. And hey - Bobby Thigpen is managing Bristol. That's cool.
