joejoesox
at this point i don't even care who it is, to be honest and terrero, gonzalez, cintron need to go, they're not MLB-talent, i dont care how many years cintron has been in the MLB, we need to dump these guys and get people who are proven everyday players, even if they suck, at least it'll be a change of scenery which is what most sox fans want right now if we're gonna lose, at least give us a different viewpoint of it. if i have to look at another cintron or uribe or terrero or gonzalez at bat, i'm gonna vomit, these guys are possibly the worst hitters i've seen at this level in a long time, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing when they face decent pitching, and you can forget about facing above average pitching uribe's lack of talent with a bat isn't so bad because he's *generally* a good defensive shortstop, at least when he's not trying to show off his arm while throwing balls into the dugout, but when you have 2 guys hitting around him who cant put the ball in play, there ends up being too many automatic outs in this lineup and it won't be any different next year unless we DEAL these losers Kenny, do something, anything, just get different guys on this team

29thandPoplar
To state the obvious, a trade is long overdue. Very disheartening they haven't shaken up this slovenly roster. Among many others, Cintron has been a huge disappointment.

Soxfest
MLB Trade Rumors on MB. The White Sox won't be granting a 72 hour negotiating window if they trade Mark Buehrle. Strictly a rental. That could limit the market for him, but Kenny Williams will come up with at least one quality prospect.
Dick Allen
Paulie said he can't, so KW went back to his room. I hope the Jacques Jones to the Sox talk is garbage. I'm sick of the Sox picking up guys who can't play on horrible teams.

Good to know.
BearSox
I think MLB Trade Rumors is full of it, and I don't believe any of their rumors. On a side note, with Pods return and his "spark" in the first inning today, with an acquisition like Jaque Jones, the White Sox could make a second half run... Wow.. He's able to stop trades from happening now?!?! Greg Walker sure has a lot of power. Hail Greg Walker. And although I would not one bit shocked, please tell me you are not trying to make some sort of racist connection between Kenny's position and the color of his skin... I heard PK say before this Sox series that this very well could be the last series that really matters for this team. Well, if that's the case, then why in the hell are you telling KW that this team can still make a run? Plus, he's hispanic, which never hurts when your manager is Ozzie. Ozzie absolutely loves Sweeney and I'm sure if it were a straight up choice between Sweeney and Gonzalez it would be an easy one but the truth is that Gonzalez is more flexible and Sweeney, more important than anything else, needs to be in the minors working on strength, turning on inside fastballs and making contact. He simply isn't ready.

greg775
Why shouldn't we pick up Jacque Jones as long as it's for some stiff prospect? He's better than the trash we're throwing out there every day. I don't want to lose 9 of 10 games the rest of the season and Jones is better than the crap we have in the outfield right now assuming Dye is hurt. I read what was said on that site after reading the post here. It quoted Ken Rosenthal. Do you believe any of what he says? That site is just a collection of media rumors anyways. Rosenthal is the guy who said he talked to Phillies sources who said the Sox could've gotten more for Garcia. Did you believe that?
