winninguglyin83
Ok, I'm exaggerating. But just a little. Johnson, the Sox pick in the 20th round out of the University of Louisville, has four doubles in six at bats in his first two games at Bristol. He's also been hit by a pitch, one of his specialties. The Sox are playing him at third, not first. Long climb to The Show. But it's hard to start much better than that.
danman31
QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 08:33 PM) The Sox are playing him at third, not first. He played 2B this year and some SS earlier in his career at Louisville. He's not a 1B.
BearSox
Logan Johnson looks like he has potential to be at the very least, a utility infielder, and possibly more.
winninguglyin83
my bad on the first base. Brain cramp. knew he was a second baseman. They've moved him to cleanup tonight. And he is 0-for=2.
NorthSideSox72
um... 2 games?
winninguglyin83
4 for 7 with four doubles is better than 0 for 7.
