The Critic
The Mrs. and I have an oh-so-rare date night tomorrow, and she's all into the mojitos lately. Anyone know of a bar or restaurant in the SW burbs that serves really good ones? I've never had one, and I'm a beer guy, so I'm sure any bar or restaurant will have what I need. Thanks in advance! Brian
A mojito is traditionally made of five ingredients: spearmint, rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime, and carbonated water. Its combination of sweetness and refreshing citrus and spearmint flavors are intended to mask the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear cocktail a popular summer drink. The Critic
Hmmmm.....did I ask for the definition or description of a mojito? Or did I ask for an establishment which serves particularly delicious ones?

We'd just like a relatively quiet place where we can talk and enjoy a couple drinks, either with dinner or after dinner.

RockRaines
Any decent restaurant should have good mojitos. I would stick to a martini or loungey place for them to serve them correctly.
BobDylan
QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jun 30, 2007 -> 09:22 AM) All I can think of is Brian from Family Guy repeating, "Mohito" over and over again. "I don't think it's a gay drink. ...Moooohhhhhhito." Everyone should drink Grey Goose and Tonic anyway.
