MHizzle85
Official Release I don't know if this warrants making a thread, but I did it anyway.

danman31
I guess no one expected Buehrle or Garland to make it but they are both having stud years.

bjm676
Congrats, Bobby! Mark didn't make it, because he won't be with the team by the All-Star Game.
greasywheels121
QUOTE(robinventura23 @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 06:55 PM) Congrats, Bobby! Mark didn't make it, because he won't be with the team by the All-Star Game. That shouldn't effect anything. Carl Everett made the All-Star team as a Ranger in 2003, but he was wearing a Sox uniform by the time the game happened.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE(danman31 @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 03:35 PM) I guess no one expected Buehrle or Garland to make it but they are both having stud years. Ya, they have both been stronger, imo, than they were in the world series seasons. Kind of stinks too. Hell, the ptiching staff has a sub 3.5 ERA over the past 5 weeks (most of which were losses). And by pitching staff I mean rotation....I don't call the pen pitchers (aside from Bobby, Logan and Thornton).
Al Lopez's Ghost
So, Bobby, feel free to strike out Aaron Rowand, for all those bloops he let fall in front of him when you were pitching.
nitetrain8601
Expected. Congrats.
TitoMB345
Would have loved to see Buehrle and/or Garland in the Final Vote over someone like Roy Halladay.
greg775
Great selection. Garland and Mark B wouldn't be out of place on the team but Bob deserves it over them.

ShoeLessRob
He's going to be lonely. Can we vote Pods back on the team?

BearSox
Garland or Buehrle should have at least been on the final ballot.
Kalapse
QUOTE(BearSox @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 10:03 PM) Garland or Buehrle should have at least been on the final ballot. Over Roy Halladay and his ERA that's a run higher than either of them or his WHIP which is .10 higher.
dasox24
Way to go, Big Guy! Definitely expected, but impressive nonetheless.
danman31
Quiz time. Who has the lowest ERA: C.C. Sabathia, Justin Verlander, or Jon Garland?
MHizzle85
QUOTE(danman31 @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 12:10 AM) Quiz time. Who has the lowest ERA: C.C. Sabathia, Justin Verlander, or Jon Garland? That would be Garland.
Kalapse
QUOTE(danman31 @ Jul 2, 2007 -> 12:10 AM) Quiz time. Who has the lowest ERA: C.C. Sabathia, Justin Verlander, or Jon Garland? Beckett, Escobar, Bonderman and Halladay as well. But apparently a pitcher's W/L record is all that matters.
