Flash Tizzle
On channel 11 at 11:30ct begins this monumental matchup between two heated division rivals. Well, actually I have no idea whether these teams are in the same division, much less rivals. I just noticed flipping through the channels this game was coming up and thought I'd give a heads up to anyone interested in watching quality baseball. I'm tuning in for the possibility our Israeli equivalent of Francisco Liriano is playing. Probably some name along the lines of Fishel Lirianoberg. Enjoy the game! Kalapse
Considering some of the odd places the Sox are pulling players from (Orlando - Brazil), I wouldn't be surprised if the Martinez' and Rodriguez' of Bristol are soon joined by a few Goldstein's and Rosenberg's. I will likely be watching as well. Former Angels prospect Abel Moreno is starting for the Pioneers.
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 11:34 PM) Former Angels prospect Abel Moreno is starting for the Pioneers. You understand the former part. He can't find the zone. Even though there's no radar gun, Moreno can't possibly be throwing above 85. Stellar defense already. lol. Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 1, 2007 -> 11:40 PM) Through 3 batters, quality of play severely lacking. ....and it didn't improve with a bad defensive route from the CF. Someone can make themselves very drunk if a drinking game were developed out of this league. Edited July 2, 2007 by Flash Tizzle

Kalapse
Matt Bennett inducing the inning ending GIDP. Outstanding. Straight from the Israel Baseball League Website: Rules of the IBL The rules of the IBL are a little different too, all aimed at enhancing fan experiences. Our games are seven innings in duration and in the most exciting innovation of all, if games are tied after seven innings, they are decided by a Home Run Derby! Baseball in Israel. It’s nothing but fun!! Oh goody, it's like Hockey.
whitesoxfan101
Hank Greenburg is rolling over in his grave. I'm not sure if he's dead, but even if he's not, he's rolling over in his grave.
R.J.
I'm sorry, but I don't have cable, and when there was a baseball game on at 1 in the morning, it made my night.
