He handles the pitchers phenomenally. I'd still much rather have AJ behind the plate than Toby Hall.

Exactly. A stat came on the board Thursday night vs the O's that said "When AJ catches, the Sox pitchers have a 2.96 ERA".

That was during the 05 postseason...

And if we are to get young, catcher should be a spot where we look to upgrade with youth.

Have radio on at work. Seems like Farmer has been in the bathroom or something for awhile. Singleton talking to himself. Horrible radio.

Well the baseball in that inning sucked as well.

Get two men on. Move them over. Let them die.

Watching Buerhle dominate now, and thinking that a simple NTC is going to let him go. I am getting sick just thinking about this.

Grace is a boob. 3 hard hit balls.

If he thinks that the seeing eye popup from Castillo is hard hit, he is hard hitting the booze between innings.

Buehrle is killing me. His trade value is so high (and going higher) that our depleted organization NEEDS to trade him since we need the guys he'd bring back. But he's so likeable and will sign for so cheap if we just give him a little old NTC. I have learned to USUALLY keep my heart out of sports decisions/opinions, but it's not working here. At all.

To me its simple. If he is going to be traded. It should be for the creme of the crop top shelf guys. Like a Gomez/or Milledge and Pelfry or a Bucholz package from the Red Cubs or a Kemp package from the Dodgers, or a Saltallamacia package from the Braves. I dont want to see him moved, if its a B prospect and 2 Cs. Take the the picks and allow this to be his fairwell tour. If he is going to sign a deal, then move something else.

Frank Thomas is a hall of famer, f***tards.

Please don't tell me Grace is hating on Frank. Just because he played in his shadow his whole career in this city.

Buehrle's ERA at 3.09

Frank Thomas is a hall of famer, f***tards.

He's been a hall of famer for a while now. The numbers he put up in his prime are the best in the history of the game sans Babe Ruth (and yes, I do not count OF #25's chemically enhanced years).

I am sure we could get a Kemp and Betemit package out of LA for Buehrle... would any of you guys be opposed to that package?

We should be able to get more than that. Betemit is still hitting below .200.

I want Kemp and Billingsley or Broxton. I bet KW does too, and that's why we haven't traded MB yet though.

We can't give Buehrle a NTC cuz it will prevent us from building to the future!

Yet we're hoping Floyd and Masset can be big additions to the team with their mediocre fastballs and awful control.
