So now if a GM likes Garland better then Buehrle they are bad ones? I would bet that there are more GM's that like Garland better then Buehrle... call me crazy, but whatever.

That would be correct. I'm not sure what possibly tells somebody that Garland is anywhere near better other than Buehrle's off year last year (and Jon had a 6 ERA into June in that same year) as well as the overrated "win" stat.

I hope your not talking about Terrero. Ford's shoe fell off and it would have been a double otherwise. Did you see how slow Terrero's turn was to get the ball back in?

Are you serious? He did a great job of cutting that ball off.

Are the Dodgers not in the NL West? That's what I am referring to. He'd be great in the NL.

Yeah that's a good point, although he hasn't been giving up many homers the last 2 years, so that number won't get too much lower.

Yeah, he got to it quickly, then stood on his back foot for 3 seconds waiting to throw the ball in. It's a double if Ford's cleat never came off.

If that's the last we saw of him, it's been a heck of a ride.

and if thats the last we see of him, JR and KW need to give more money to Brooks. Because spinning this s***, will take a marketting master of ninja skills level.

Give him the NTC, and just call it a day. I cant wait till next year when we get a top 5 draft pick and JR keeps his no Boras talent, and we wind up with some dude ranked 35th, but because he is signable we go for it.

Lots of scouts look at stuff rather then stats, and there is no question that Garland has better stuff...

Mark Buehrle better go for the CG...

No. Buehrle has better stuff by far.

After watching Dye out there for so long, it's just nice to see someone cut it off before it hits the fence, which is all that matters on that play.

And Buehrle will be traded within the next 10 days.....that's too bad.

There's no question Buehrle is a better pitcher, which is what matters.

If I had to bet my season on a guy, Buerhle or Garland I would take Buerhle hands down and twice on Sunday. Buerhle has had stones from the time he came up from the minors. Garland up until a few years ago, had tiny nuts syndrome. Where if something bad would happen he would s*** the bed. Judy shows her ugly head here and there.

Watching Buehrle tip the cap and hug Ozzie made me very, very sad.

All I can say is KW better hope he gets a hell of a package for Buehrle.

I said for a while not trading Crede this offseason will turn out to be KW's biggest mistake, and I still believe that, but if he doesn't make a GREAT trade involving MB if we do indeed trade him, that will be the one that costs him his job in due time.

Since you disagree with 99 pct of the stuff I say, did you agree with me that there was a lot more to Buehrle packing up his locker yesterday than what people believed?

I'm still not sure what to think of that. My heart wants to say it's a joke, but my brain is telling me he is a goner.

Do you see me disagreeing with that? Buehrle is what Hawk would call a pitcher. He goes out there, attacks hitters, and gets outs. But if you look at pure stuff, Garland has the edge.
