clujer420
How is Garland pitching? Is he dominating coz Im at work right now? Hope he keeps it going he's been pitching well Garland is pitching very well. Only 1 ball has left the infield according to the Twin announcers. 5 1/3 IP, 0 ER, 2 hits (both infield), 4 strikeouts, 2 walks. Make that 3 hits as Koskie hits a double to right. Capn12
Garland has looked pretty good actually. Only 2 hits allowed in 5 IP, both infield singles. The Twins announcers said that coming into this game, Garland over his last 8 games is 3-3, with a 3.38 ERA....He is getting his stuff together apparently, and that makes 3.5 good starters right now (Colon, he is hurting...needs an arm break)

Cleveland helping the Sox out today -- the won the 1st game of the doubleheader with KC, and they're currently winning in game 2. I hate Dougie. He was complaining about being at the AS game due to lack of security and KW responded "Doug who? He doesnt need to worry about being at the AS game". That was the smartest thing hes ever said... clujer420
Wow, heh. A pitch 3 inches off the outside corner called strike 3 on Hunter, and Garland pitches around the 1-out double by Koskie. End 5 1/2, Sox up 8-0.

clujer420
Since killing Mays, the Sox have done nothing. This is about the only thing that has bothered me about us lately. It seems like unless it's against the Cubs, we are content with what we have after the 4th or 5th inning. That killer instinct just isn't there right now. Hopefully it will come around. MurcieOne
Correct it, and nobody could make fun of it. Well anyway, a solo HR by Kielty ends the shutout in the 7th. Sox now up 8-1. Jon gave up a couple meatballs......back to back jacks.... 8-2.
clujer420
AJ takes Jon deep. WTF? 8-2 Sox. He gets Rivas looking for out #2. That really looked inside, but it was called anyway. Unreal.
Soxplosion
Back to back to the two biggest dicks on the team. Well doesnt that suck. Either way, Jons still pitching great...

clujer420
Wow, I LOVE Jon pitching inside like he's doing. 3 Twin hitters have fouled inside pitches off of themselves now, and it's a beautiful thing to see. It sets everything away up, especially the breaking stuff. If he can do that on a consistent basis, he'll be a very successful major leaguer, as he'll plant that seed in every hitter's head.
