Maybe we'll pull Turner and make it moot (not likely).

I know we lost the guy who never should have committed in the first place, but how does someone who isnt enrolling for 2 years counting as a 2014? Thats insane to me.

I think Matta is trying again in 2015 to hit a HR going all out for Kennard and Bragg.

While Illinois and OSU have done a good job with Bragg so far, I see him going to someplace like UK.

I was thinking last night - isn't it better for these top guys NOT to go to Kentucky? I couldn't name you more than 2-3 Kentucky players the last couple of years, and he's had like 8-10 1st rounders. Watching last night I knew of Randle and the Harrison twins, but no on else even though there were more top recruits. At some point doesn't the recruiting pitch have to be why not be a big fish in a small (yet successful and national) pond instead of a small fish in a big pond?

Scouts are going to find you no matter where you play. I guess I'd rather be getting the publicity of leading a team as the major star over going to a school with a bunch of other stars.

We are hoping both he and Kennard stay in Ohio. Both have the attention of UK, but apparently the NBA-like atmosphere and roster turned off at least Kennard.

Bragg just seems to like the spotlight from what I've seen.

NOTE: This is just from casual internet observation.

All of our insiders think it's ILL for Cliff.

And sounds like Okafor and Lyle to Kansas. Even with Cliff visiting Kansas, seems Self has focused on the package deal more.

"he's had like 8-10 1st rounders"

This should answer your question. This is his pitch right now.

I wonder where that leaves Turner. I really thought Okafor was going to land at Duke.

Most people still think okafor to duke. Friday should be interesting.

I'm hearing turner is interested in Texas and people on the KU board thought it was 50/50 with them and Texas. I haven't followed that recruitment, but that's what I've seen while stalking other boards for info on cliff.

So does 92% of the national "experts".

The crystal ball thing is hilarious sometimes. I like how those guys change their "predictions" moments before a kid announces so their record is still good. Just pick and stick with it.

Yea it is ridiculous, they at least weight the amount of time you had the pick but I don't think anyone ever really looks at that stat rather than the % correct.

Still, Brian must be hearing something different because that's a huge amount in favor of Duke at the moment.
