Pierre has beeeeen so good for them, so I don't think they would look to trade him. Big salary or not.

Cerbaho-WG
Rauch and DJ for Castillo would actaully make a lot of sense. I'd be inclined to do it, but Florida would probably ask for one more player.
Jim Fainter
Who's going to be the best outfielder in the next five years, Pierre or Rowand? Forget Rowand's bulls*** start this year. That is history. In the NEXT five years. I'll take Rowand.
Rex Hudler
Pierre doesn't make a lot of money so there is no need for him to be included in any payroll dump. Does someone know why Florida might be wanting to move him? I have not heard him included in any reports, except on here. Is this a matter of guys on here seeing a CF they like and a team that may want to trade some players, hoping that they match up?
SuperSteve
I heard people on here talking about it earlier. Pierre will not be traded anytime soon. I do not see why they would trade him. They Marlins want cheap, productive players. He had 3 stolen bases today, and a total of 39. Why would they include him?

KipWellsFan
I see absolutely no reason for the Marlins to trade him, he's a young hardworking player (Pierre).
Wong & Owens
Did anyone see any of the Braves Marlins game last night? Pierre leads off against Maddux by slapping an outside pitch to left for a single, then steals second. Castillo up next, puts down the bunt to get Pierre over to third, and winds up beating Maddux's throw to first. IRod then hit a 3-run dinger. The thought of having those two guys at the top of our order gives me a warm, tingling sensation. Got get 'em, KW.
