Did Cryme Tyme get sent down and brought back? Or did they get released and re-signed? good move on Vince's part, they got a big pop when they came out. I forgot to mention yesterday how insane HBK's backflip onto the announcers table was, I just wanted to say that.

Oh, and Ref Robinson running the entire length of the football field was F***ing hilarious

I seriously thought he broke some ribs on that. I was sure Flair was going to survive for another match for that sole reason.

The crowd in Orlando is really pumped up tonite.

Loved the Flair tribute but why the hell is Cena involved he had NO ties to Flair at all, leave it to Vince to ram Cena down our throats to almost ruin the whole segment. I thought Piper would be there for sure.

Cena isnt allowed to show respect to a retiring wrestler? How do you know that Flair and Cena arent friends backstage?

Big Show is going to annihilate Khali. He is so much more athletic and mobile, he should dance circles around Khali.

Botchtista performed a completely horrid promo with HBK, and looked like a gay porn star at the same time.

For anyone wondering why bitter, useless, irrelevant Ole Anderson didn't take part in the Flair tribute:

From Prowrestling.net

Ole Anderson rejected an opportunity to take part in the Ric Flair tribute on Monday's Raw. "They were going to give me $1,500 to come down and tape me (for the Four Horseman video commentary) in my house," Anderson told Pat McNeill of PWTorch.com.

Anderson said regarding the Four Horsemen video. "I just turned down a deal too. In fact, this weekend I was supposed to go to Orlando. They wanted me to go to Orlando and I wouldn't go."

Later in the interview, Anderson put down Flair's in-ring ability. "He ended up having the same match every night..." Anderson said. "He had a lot of potential to begin with, but he's never had anything different than the same damn match every night... The point is he still doesn't have any idea how to have a match work. So they gave him credit for the last match here in Orlando. Wonderful. I hope it is. It'll be the same as it always was. Tell the match the other night was different than any other match he's ever had. He always does the same damn dumb things."

Like Ole was The Man Of 1,000 Holds or something.....get over yourself, Ole.

Heyman feels the same way and he worked there!

Paul Heyman has a new article up on the Sun UK website and while he mostly puts over WWE's Ric Flair send-off, he did find things to criticize about the RAW ceremony.

But watching Flair cry because Chris Jericho says thank you? Hey, here's John Cena. And he's saluting Flair. Whooop de freakin' do. Yeah yeah, this is basic Thugonomics. What the hell does it have to do with anyone's favorite Flair memories? Cena? Jericho? Where's Fifi the French Maid?"

And...

"And please, I'm begging someone to tell Vince and Kevin Dunn that f'n song about leaving the memories alone is not something that tugs at the heart, nor does it add to the emotion of a Ric Flair testimonial. Play Strauss' Sprach Zarathustra - which was the theme to 2001: A Space Odyssey - all night long. That other song is just Vince and Kevin saying: "Here's the WWE touch to it all that makes it so great. Get over yourselves."

[courtesy Lords of Pain]

The Fox affiliate out of Atlanta has a story tonight on a man who discovered drugs in a Locust Grove, Georgia home he recently purchased from an unidentified past or present WWE wrestler.

Soon after the person moved in, he discovered two small shoe boxes in a crawl space in the wall of the attic filled with several bottles of steroids & Growth Hormone, as well as several personal documents & unopened syringes. He also found a copy of the wrestler's WWE contract, not to mention a memo from 2004 regarding changes to the dress code.

Henry County Police have asked the Fox affiliate to not name the wrestler at this time because they want to talk with him first. Investigators believe the wrestler is staying with relatives in another state.

WWE Director of Publicity Kevin Hennesy told the Fox affiliate that it is not illegal for their wrestlers to take steroids. "Wrestlers can only be prescribed steroids by a physician which is rare and only for a specific medical condition and it is usually taken orally," Hennesy said. "If a wrestler is injecting steroids for performance enhancement purposes that would be a matter for local law enforcement."

This should be very interesting.

I don't want to speculate names, but my first thought was that a lot of the old wCw guys lived around Atlanta.

This shouldn't be too hard for the tabloid snoops to figure out. I'd assume there has to be some registry of home sales somewhere.

Ahhhhh, it's nobody....

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/2008/articles/1207600250.php

WSB-TV, the ABC affiliate out of Atlanta, has identified the WWE wrestler linked to steroids and HGH found in a Locust Grove, Georgia house.

The wrestler is current employed by World Wrestling Entertainment, as the drugs are being linked to ECW wrestler Michael Hettinga a.k.a. Mike Knox. According to police, paperwork in the boxes link the drugs to Hettinga.

The resident who purchased the home from Hettinga found two shoe boxes in the attic containing bottles labeled as steroids, testosterone and human growth hormones. The boxes also contained syringes and a some personal documents.

In 2005 and 2006, Hettinga was a part of Deep South Wrestling, which was based out of McDonough, Georgia.

After being largely kept off television for over a year, Knox finally appeared to be in line for a push in the company as he's been up-ending Stevie Richards the past few weeks on ECW. Knox's winning streak continued last week when he picked up a solo victory over Richards. The two also met in tag action the week before as Knox & Layla were victorious over Richards & Kelly Kelly.
