Well, he couldn't take valuable airtime away from the McMahon Clan on Raw or Vickie Guerrero on SmackDown...

If not for the better paychecks he'd probably be very sorry already that he jumped ship.

When Christian left, he left because of the direction, or lack there of, the E had for him. But he also handled it and left the right way.

I don't think he would come back unless there was a plan for him. I'll let it play out but if he is feuding with Chavo in a couple of months, I'll be pissed. He definitely should of been thrown into the Hardy vs. Hardy mix. Only natural.

I read somewhere that Vince wasn't too impressed with him before he left for TNA, and that was one of the reasons he left. Maybe those feelings haven't changed, and getting him back was more about weakening TNA than strengthening WWE.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Christian was promised things by the people courting him, and now Vince put the kibosh on whatever he was promised.

Vince definitely has the last word, and Christian wouldn't be the first guy to have his storyline plans derailed by Vinny Mac.

I'll also wait and see what develops, but there doesn't seem to be a real good reason to slow-play his return. He was a Top 5 guy in TNA right up until the MEM angle started, so placing him on the #3 show smells fishy to me.

Problems I had with Christian's return last night....

It was on ECW.

Striker/Grisham sounded as if it were Tommy Dreamer coming out...JR/King...hell even Michael Cole would of put his return over.

It was on ECW.

I wouldn't of had him wrestle his first night back.

It was on ECW.

It wasn't on Raw or Smackdown.

It was on ECW.

TNA released Scott Steiner's Mini-Me, Petey Williams, and finally found the proper medicine to get rid of their Rock & Rave Infection. (meaning Lance "Rock" Hoyt & Jimmy Rave were also released).

Stevie Richards has signed with TNA. Hopefully he can find a way to get over.

maybe putting Christian on ECW is Vinnie's attempt to get more people to watch ECW. It's the only thing i can think of that would make any sort of sense to me.

I agree, he probably promised Christian the world if he could bring the ratings up on ECW. Plus, there is no quicker way for a championship belt for Christian. He will probably win it, prance and preen for a few months, then crossover to SMackdown or RAW

This PPV rocked. Outside of the ECW match, they were awesome matches.

EDGE is the World Heavyweight Champion as he attacked Kofi and took his place in the Raw chamber match.

Usually we have an idea of what will happen at Mania, but this year, no clue.

I don't understand how Edge was just allowed to do that. Was it because Stephanie was gone because of Shane's injury? I know it's wrestling and all, but I don't understand how Edge was just allowed to beat up a guy and take his place, and then have him be the legal man.

Also, I thought the PPV was kind of boring, Brian.

You answered your own question. It's wrestling. I assume he is taking the belt to SD and we'll go from there. Who knows.

If you thought the PPV was boring, i really don't know what you expected. It was unpredictable.

I agree, good ppv. Usually the Mania card is totally predictable at this point, but this year it's not, and I salute them. Good booking (so far.)

I'm not a huge fan of Cena's work. but he's a good guy backstage from what I hear, so I hope he's not injured.

Orton/HHH for the WWE belt?

Unpredictable, yes. And I do like to see that in wrestling, but I think that the chamber matches just don't do it for me. I don't find them all that interesting.

GREAT show last night

HHH is going to Raw i'd believe...at this point they might as well acknowledge the HHH/Steph marriage to further the storyline for 'Mania.

I love matches that Shane are a part of, this match also cemented the fact that the RKO is my favorite finisher in wrestling.

HBK/JBL & Swagger/Finlay were the low points of the night...not much excitement

Being an Edge mark, I marked hard when he attacked Kofi...even more so when he eliminated Cena....and even more so when he finally won it. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

There you go. They just laid the groundwork.
