Milkman delivers
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 05:03 PM) I'm surprised, because I would think you would like him since he uses a lot more mat-wrestling techniques. IMO, he's probably the 3 best wrestlers not signed to TNA or WWE. If you have time check out any of the matches he had with Homicide in 06 or his matches with Takeshi Morishima Not another Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack thing, I assume. SoxFan562004
QUOTE (The Critic @ Aug 24, 2009 -> 01:52 PM) I think Danielson did one jobber squash match for The E in the past. I'll reserve judgment on him until I see how they use him, but I haven't been that impressed by him in the little I've seen of ROH. Seems like just another guy to me. He may have, he was trained by HBK and many of those guys and I believe a women or two were given curtain jerker spots on some cards.

True, as long as he's used right. 3 former HBK students (Lance Cade, London & Kendrick) were kind of given the raw deal after awhile.

Lance Cade wasn't really all that good, IMO and didn't he get released because of wellness failures? London and Kendrick were one of the best tag teams they have had in the past 10 years, which may not be saying much.
iWiN4PreP
You seem like a nice guy and all, but why the hell do you keep posting in this thread when all you're doing is s***ting on the product and mentioning that you don't watch anymore? Well, to be honest, I'm just very disappointed. It's something I want to watch, I dont watch any tv at all, so when I have a WANT to watch something, and it keeps producing well under its level, it's depressing. We all know wrestling has an ABUNDANCE of problems, but, it is the most popular now then it ever has been (I think??? at least in terms of buying ppv's, merchandise, and money). My problem is, tehres so much fans, SO much people complain about it, not just me, and I know you probably have alot of same points as me. It's just So simple of a issue to fix but they dont do it because of the money... bogus simple fix off top of my head, Dont let it be Pg-13, Take ECW off tv, Do like 10 or less PPV's a year, only raw/smackdown per week if that, lower rosters (get id of duds like Khali / Hornswoggle), stop with this 'diva' Bulls***, I could go on for a while. It's just depressing cause I watch all the old classic classic matches and theres so much room for potentional nowadays, just being crushed by industry :'(
Brian
I agree about too many PPVs. I think 1 one every other month would be ideal.

They were in the process of giving Cade that mini push as Jericho's assistant or something like that & IIRC, they never really said why he was released. All I remember reading is that he had a seizure on a plane.

Kyyle23
London basically sealed his own fate when he blew his small acting part in Vince McMahons "death" scene and had a huge smile on his face. From that point forward Vince held him under his thumb until they parted ways

MHizzle85
Watched the Rise & Fall of WCW last night... It's good, but it kinda comes off as a cliff's notes version of what happened. The DVD makes it seems that everything was just dandy and then all of a sudden things went s***ty. They could of used another hour at least. But for someone who was really young or not even alive for some of that stuff, it's a good history lesson.

As a nice companion piece, read "The Death of WCW" by Bryan Alvarez. It gives lots of examples of the horrible mismanagement, ego trips and ego clashes, foolish spending and loads of other mis-steps that led to wCw going down the drain. It gives lots of examples of the horrible mismanagement, ego trips and ego clashes, foolish spending and loads of other mis-steps that led to wCw going down the drain. I plan on it. I've been told that this book goes more into detail. The DVD set is good for having some of the matches anyway, as well as the "Lost in Cleveland" saga. T R U
QUOTE (Brian @ Aug 27, 2009 -> 08:18 PM) Shocked....that it wasn't sooner. Well apparently Mysterio was against dropping the title so soon because when he had his WHC run he didnt hold the title long enough and wanted a decent run with the IC belt.
