Matt Hardy had an emergency appendectomy before the smackdown tapings the other day and is expected to miss a good chunk of the next 2 months recovering. pretty scary stuff, his blood was already being poisoned by the released toxins

[kayfabe]Damn you, MVP and your shenanigans![/kayfabe]

Off to go play SDvR2008. Surprisingly mediocre but replay is alright until I get bored of it in less than a week. Yay rentals.

Just got done watching Smackdown, don't mean to play spoiler but....

Am I the only one that thinks this Edge/Vicki Guerrero thing is a little creepy?

No. I guess the angle was suppose to be Edge and Krystal but Kystal didn't feel like doing it morally and got released. Krystal will do water fights in white shirts but won't be a heel escort with Edge. Would of elevated her career.

Well look what happened to the last heel escort related to Edge and what happened.

Yep that was indeed the case. She didn't wanted to be hated like Lita was, which is really pretty stupid.

I'm a big Edge fan, and he along with Jericho are most what the WWE needs right now, but yeah this storyline is a bit creepy.

It could all end up being like the McMahon Helmsely era though.

For the ROH fans here, or people interested in picking up a DVD for a good price. ROH has extended their Black Friday sale until tomorrow at 8am, it's 35% off your entire order. I'm still deciding if theres something that I want....would anyone suggest any shows from this year? I've seen every show up until the shows in Japan.

Flair to "retire" or retire tonight...not really sure what to make of this one. I'd like for him to somehow win the title once more before he actually does retire.

He's said in interviews that he's been waiting for creative to come up with a storyline for him. Either this is the storyline, or maybe he's tired of waiting.

I'd suggest:

The Best of Chikara -- It's $10.00 Get it and enjoy it. It is awesome.

As for ROH:

Supercard of Honor II (if nothing else for that cage match)

Good Times, Great Memories

FYF: Chicago

Both ROH in Japan shows

The Battle of St. Paul (which I've heard is an underrated show)

Driven

Race to the Top Night 1 and Night 2

Manhattan Mayhem II

I recently picked up Supercard of Honor, Joe vs Kobashi and a few other shows (Driven).

And oh yeah, I was watching the Mario and Sonic @ the Olympic Games commercial -- is it bad that I was like "Go Danielson!" when the Final Countdown was playing?

So VKM says the next time Flair loses a match, his career is over.

Ugh.

EDIT: so now Orton comes to the ring and challenges Flair to a match - could this crappy angle possibly lead to one more title run for Flair?

The first match he loses, Flair retires. /kayfabe

This'll lead to a farewell tour at WrestleMania to put over a young talent.

I already heard from a friend that this angle is Stone Cold's idea, and that Flair will lose at Wrestlemania and retire. That leaves plenty of time (about half a year) to get him the title one last time. Maybe it'll happen at the Royal Rumble.

Hacksaw and Crazy as a tag team = GOLD.

Plus the Rhodes/Holly/Hacksaw/Crazy team with the crowd's USA chant = ironic gold.

Man, nobody is wondering where Hacksaw's been when he's off Raw...even when Raw's been in his hometown.

And if Cade and Murdoch ever went to Japan, they'd be so over.

It'd be funny if guys kept running in every time Flair wrestles and just lightly slapping Flair to get his opponents DQ'd for outside interference.

HHH "I'm an 11 time champ not because I made friends."

Nope. It was because you were screwing the boss's daughter.
