Who did it hurt for Trips at Summerslam? It was his return match! He's not gonna lose that. And Booker was a heel!

Regal is not a draw - putting him in a ppv match with HHH is a joke.

And they didn't NEED him to lose to Flair - so what's the problem?

.......some people will complain no matter what you do..........

Trips didn't have to win that match, didn't have to lose it either...they were gonna recieve buys just on his return alone. Which is what they should of done for JBL's return.

Also with Regal, since it would of been a match on the undercard it wouldn't of mattered much anyway. But it would of been nice to get Regal's character over just a bit.

And I know they didn't NED him to lost to Flair, but he could of....

If you set aside money to buy the upcoming WWE-produced Macho Man and Sting DVD sets, go buy yourself some beer or something instead:

source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Vince McMahon has cancelled the Randy Savage and Sting DVDs that were listed for a 2008 release.

The DVDs were originally scheduled after WWE producer Kevin Dunn's television department released a list of planned 2008 releases to distributors. However, they did so with out the permission of Vince McMahon and the creative team. When McMahon found out about the plans for the Randy Savage & Sting DVDs, he immediately nixed both projects.

The DVDs got on the drawing board because McMahon didn't think they were making enough first-run DVD releases. He wanted DVDs on new major legends. However, the problem is that they've pretty much through everyone who would be marketable from the past. And the feeling is anyone pre-1984 such as Bruno Sammartino, that audience is so far gone that they wouldn't sell. They've pretty much run through every major star of the past 23 years, with the exception of Sting and Randy Savage.

It's not exactly known as to why McMahon nixed the Savage DVD, but it's been long rumored that there is some bad blood between the two individuals. Regarding the cancellation of the Sting DVD, it's because he's currently under contract to TNA.

Yeah. Don't care if it was on a big mat. You have to hit that perfectly.

It was a nice bait and switch job. I bet the only people that could see it were the people on the very side of the stage

Hardy did like a 30 ft Swanton Bomb off some scaffolding onto Orton who was previously back dropped off the stage

Did anyone else find it awkward that JR and the King weren't talking during the time Orton and Hardy were laying there? I'm sure the audio just went out, but in the back of my head, I was fearing that something really did go wrong, which is why they were not saying anything.

nah, i think it was part of the act

I think that Orton rolled out of the way when all of the refs gathered around him after he was tossed over the stage, and some sort of mat was placed where Hardy landed, and when hardy landed he lifted his back legs and Orton stuck his legs underneath to make it look like Hardy landed on Orton. The sound that Hardy made when he landed was really flat, like he landed square on his back. If he had landed on Ortons legs where he supposedly landed, Orton would have two broken legs.

BTW, that crowd in Mobile was frickin awful.

More successful than Hogan, Austin, and The Rock?

Only thing I remember Sid doing is breaking his leg at that WCW PPV in like 2001. Did he even have merchandise? Did he even have fans?

The thing I remember him best for, besides the gruesome ankle break, is skipping shows due to "illnesses" or "injuries" but still being healthy enough to play in his softball leagues.

I don't remember there ever being any Sid merchandise. There probably was, but I don't remember it. Of course, I'd never have purchased any - Sid was basically the equivalent of Snitsky.

Vicious stated that he only wishes to wrestle for another two or three years before possibly transitioning to the creative side of the business. However, Sid seems very pleased with how his career has played out overall. “In the last ten or fifteen years in this business, not many people have been as successful as I have. I’ve had successful runs everywhere I’ve went. Almost as long as I’ve been in the business I’ve been successful … Anytime where I’ve been put in the position where I could be successful, I have. And I’ve been more successful than Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Rock, and all those guys. Those guys right there I just mentioned only had one great run. They didn’t have a bunch of good runs, they only had one. And that’s the difference between me and a lot of different people.”

All three of those guys could come back right now and have a better run then Sid Vicious EVER had. What a ridiculous statement

Anyone see Candice Michelle's softcore lesbian porn (HBO or Cinemax late night, nothing special) with Belinda Gavin from American Gladiators? A quick Google search will show you the pictures/clip. The bathtub scene is hilarious, Candice doesnt look like she is too hip to the girl on girl action.

Candice - wubba wubba

Belinda - yuck

I saw it on the net. That soft core stuff doesn't do much for me unless it is two really hot girls. Candice is really hot IMO, Belinda not!
