True.

I loved when Randy was unfolding the apology:

"HE CAN'T REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD!!!"

I liked when Randy said "I have something" and the guy yelled "HERPES!!!!"

I have come to really enjoy Miz and Morrison.

I could do without Morrison on the mic still, but he is pretty good in the ring. Miz really impressed me though, he totally earned most improved

They sell better than almost any other guys in the business. I like them a lot.

Agree. I like em as well and hope they do not split them up anytime soon.

I just watched the ending to Raw, and boy did that sure blow.

So 40 yr old Shane comes out and single handed takes out Legacy? The number one contender and two young stars taken out by a non-wrestler? Seriously? If he comes down with a pipe or some kind of weapon you can at least make sense of it, but that was so beyond dumb.

Shane should have joined them. He also whiffed on 80 pct of his punches.

It's called building towards a match...sure Legacy looked bad, what would they of gained getting over on Shane? There's plenty of time for that.

That's what happens when your delivery is as slow and boring as Orton's is. Man is that guy a charisma black hole.

Mainly because he shouldn't of been in that role. That's more of a Jericho move. IMO, that was a small step back for him.

A couple of interesting tidbits:

Vince told Orton to "bring it" with his boot to the head to make the angle more legit:

and a recap of Mickey Rourke and Chris Jericho on Dead Buzzard Live:

Also, I just read that "Gov. Palin" is actually Daffney from the dying days of wCw. I would never have recognized her as Gov. Palin.

Spoiler for tonight's TNA Impact:

The Main Event Mafia continue their nWo Tribute Tour by taking over the set of Impact. It sounds like some high comedy COULD take place, though, as they allowed Scott Steiner to do color commentary. Foley comes to the rescue (after an hour or so, the buffet must have been distractingly yummy) and order is restored - and by "order", I mean the mind-numbing awfulness of Don West is foisted upon us once again.

I'll be watching. I can't help myself....I have a problem.....

You MUST let me know if Steiner drops any gems on commentary.

Nahhhhh, they reported it wrong.

Steiner was the ring announcer and Booker T was color commentary.

Booker did this annoying low, gravelly, Wolfman Jack type of voice the whole time, and Steiner was funny but didn't have enough mic time to say anything really offensive/hilarious.

The funniest thing was when Booker did a run-in, he took the mic with him and announced what he was doing:

"Booker sees Petey Williams lying in the corner....he lines him up.....OHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh, Booker kicks Petey in the head!!!"

This was just one more example of the Main Event Mafia trying and failing to be the nWo.

They "took over" because Jarrett was injured and Foley was late to arrive. Angle sat in Jarrett's office - OOOOOOOH - what a rebel!!!

As soon as Foley arrived he put the show "back in order" and they just let him do it.

It was like a teenager throwing a party while his parents weren't home, and running scared when they got home.

I'm putting this in the Blago thread and the wrestling thread because it deserves to be in both:

TNA Offers Rod Blagojevich A Job With The Main Event Mafia

By Michael Bluth

Jan 30, 2009 - 6:13:55 PM

TNA sent out the following press release this afternoon touting their latest publicity stunt:

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich offered job as Chairman of TNA Wrestling’s Main Event Mafia

TNA Wrestling is offering the newly created position of Chairman for its Main Event Mafia faction - and the opportunity to openly sell chairs, steel chairs - to ousted Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

TNA officials confirmed today that Blagojevich, who was impeached by the Illinois House of Representatives on January 29, is being offered the “Chairman” job within its Main Event Mafia faction, an elite unit which includes U.S. Olympic Gold Medal winner Kurt Angle, former World Heavyweight Champions Kevin Nash, Booker T., and Scott Steiner, and reigning TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Sting.

Blagojevich was arrested on criminal charges on December 9, 2008, for conspiring to sell the senate seat vacated by then-President Elect Barack Obama to the highest bidder, but Angle truly believes in the U.S. justice system.

“He’s innocent until proven guilty,” Angle said. “As the leader of the Main Event Mafia, I am a huge fan of the Illinois style of politics. As such, Governor Blagojevich is welcome to join me and the entire Main Event Mafia at any and all TNA events in the future, and certainly is welcome to sell his seat with us should he choose not to accept our generous offer.”

Blagojevich is a former amateur boxer, so Angle is convinced Blagojevich, “easily will be able to handle the transition to pro wrestling,” Angle said.

The Illinois House of Representatives voted in favor of impeachment by an astounding margin of 114-1. Only 60 votes were needed to push the impeachment forward. The single dissenting vote came from Democratic State Representative Milton Patterson, who represents the Southwest side of Chicago.

TRU's wishes come true....errr tru

The latest issue of WWE Magazine has an article making their predictions for 2009, and in one of the predictions, they predict Kelly Kelly to pose for Playboy this year. Here is what they wrote:

"Kelly Kelly graces the pages of Playboy. We can continue dreaming, can't we?"
