GoodAsGould
QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 6, 2008 -> 02:43 PM) It was an effective zombie movie. It had zombies, great music, and was a fun movie to watch. I'll see it again relatively soon hopefully and will expand on this if you want, but I enjoyed it (also, let it be known, I'm a big Danny Boyle fan, and I did really enjoy the original; I just felt like I got more of what I wanted (zombies!) out of the second) Lol, i think you are the only person on the planet who likes 28 weeks later. I wanted to enjoy the movie but my god it was so horribly bad.

I wanted to enjoy the movie but my god it was so horribly bad. My brother (who I saw it with) enjoyed it as well. I also know other people that liked it. I wasn't looking for much, I just wanted some good zombie entertainment, which is what I got with a kickass soundtrack.

Kid Gleason
Well, from everything I have ever heard, and through out the Horror communities, 28 Days Later has always been considered FAR superior to the original. I still have yet to see it though.
shipps
Seen "Winter Passing" recently and enjoyed it.There where some good performances by Ed Harris and Zooey Deschanel in it(Deshanel is the girl from Elf that Will Ferrell's character liked). She has the whole tortured soul but sensitive thing going on,not to mention shes pretty hot. Will Ferrell is also in it and is pretty funny,he plays a christian rocker that lives with Ed Harris who is a famous author.Ferrell is like the security guard and the handyman of the property while Harris lives in the garage and drinks all day.I give it 2 1/2 stars, would have gave it 3 stars if they would have developed some of the other characters more. Controlled Chaos
QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 01:42 AM) I saw Charlie Wilson's War tonight. Apparently conservatives have some problem with the historical accuracy but I still thought Hanks and Hoffman made this a really fun movie to see. I saw it and also enjoyed it, but this is why some have a problem with it.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE(Felix @ Jan 6, 2008 -> 06:05 PM) My brother (who I saw it with) enjoyed it as well. I also know other people that liked it. I wasn't looking for much, I just wanted some good zombie entertainment, which is what I got with a kickass soundtrack. As a whole it was better than the first one. I was entertained throughouly throughout the movie. The first movie was possibly the best zombie movie ever until the point where they join up with the f'd up army (after that it went drastically downhill). Yeah, that's what I felt about the first one too. The ending was disappointing, although the rest of it was fantastic. And again, I love Danny Boyle.. I just wish he had done the ending better (even the alternate endings that were on the DVD were a bit weak I thought)

Brian
Finally rented "We Are Marshall". Been wanting to see it since it came out in theaters. Great movie. Out of all the scenes, the most emotional to me was when the one kid finally drank beer from the box he bought the night of the crash.

But was worth watching for sure.
Texsox
Within the last couple weeks American Treasure, decent. About what I expected. Worth the price of admission. P.S. I Love You, good. My expectations were very low, expecting a tear jerking, too sweet, beyond belief, and was pleasently surprised.
