BigSqwert
QUOTE (shipps @ Aug 19, 2008 -> 07:53 AM) OMG!Tropic Thunder was f***ing HORRIBLE and Iam putting this in spoilers because I want everyone else to waste their time and money on this piece of garbage so I wont feel as bad. I saw it last night and was very underwhelmed. Pineapple Express much funnier IMO.
Milkman delivers
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Aug 30, 2008 -> 05:03 AM) "College" was far from a good movie. NO WAY!

Kyyle23
This weekend me and my wife rented Juno and What Happens in Vegas. What happens in Vegas actually had a few pretty funny moments, Rob Corddry and the girl who plays Cameron Diaz' sidekick are really funny throughout the movie. It isnt reinventing the wheel or anything, typical "We hooked up then we fell in love" type of movie, but it has some laughs. Juno was good, nothing much to say that hasnt already been said
Milkman delivers
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Aug 31, 2008 -> 11:56 PM) So "Casino" is on right now. Probably seen it over 25 times. One of my favorites. However, I never realized it was based on factual events. After reading up on it, the scene where Joe Pesci gets beaten and buried alive was based off events that happened in Dupage County. Ha, funny you should mention that. I just watched Raging Bull for the first time, believe it or not. The part in Casino where Pesci gets beaten to death by Frank Vincent is so fulfilling, it's strange. It's the same feeling I get when Pesci gets it in Goodfellas. But, in regards to Raging Bull, did Pesci nail De Niro's wife? I assumed it was LaMotta being too jealous, but I dunno.

If it weren't for me, every motherf***ing wise guy out here would want a piece....of your JEW ASSSSSS. I always look for an opportunity to include that quote in my life. That, and telling people to go home and get their shineboxes. BTW, right now I'm watching Tears of the Sun on FX. Powerful movie. I'm almost hesitant to change it for the Sox game. Milkman delivers
Don LaFontaine, the man who does all of the movie trailer voice overs, passed away today at the age of 68. It's going to be weird watching trailers without his voice anymore. RIP. Strangely, I found this out by looking up the Family Guy episode that was just on. I clicked on his name, as he was one of the guest stars, and I see his date of death listed as today.

Pineapple Express was decent but not that great, but Tropic Thunder was one of the best movies I saw this summer. Actually, of all the movies I saw this summer, Dark Knight and Tropic Thunder were far and away the best two. Though Forgetting Sarah Marshall was also pretty good. LosMediasBlancas
Watched this tonight. Overall so-so, but if you're a fan of P. Cruz, it's worth the rental. Serious topless situations.... and I don't mean one brief shot in a dark room. There are several, minute long shots of clear, full boobage. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809860441/trailer
shipps
Anyone who seen Traitor had to also find this hilarious ,(a bus full of nervous sweaty people reciting a muslim prayer and they are all carrying some sort of bag or container rocking back and forth. You would have thought they might have realized there was something going on that wasnt right with the plan.Thats what made the movie for me anyways,I LOVE unexepected twists in in movies. There were people lolz in the theatre including myself when Samir revealed his plan).
