Brian
QUOTE (juddling @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 10:18 PM) The trailer for the new Bond flick looks every bit as good as the last one...... Bond.....James Bond I like some of the camera shots in there. Like the overhead of them falling through the windows and it follows them. I heard this is more of a sequel to "Casino Royale" rather than another Bond movie. Guess I should watch that again.
SnB
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 01:36 PM) Watched Lars and the Real Girl as well as The Savages over the weekend. Savages was solid. Lars had me until about the last 3rd of the movie when it became a bit too ridiculous. i really thought i would like lars, seemed like my type of movie.........hated it. Milkman delivers
QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 11:35 AM) Totally agree. Loved Casino Royale. Anyone going to see Righteous Kill? I just got back from Righteous Kill. It wasn't very good at all. That's saying something considering it stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. And if you don't figure out really early in the movie that Pacino is the killer, then there's something wrong with you. I think I figured it out within the first 20 minutes. Not a terrible movie but not great either. Something to do on a crappy weather night.

BigSqwert
Watcher "Dancer in the Dark" a few nights ago with my wife. What an excellent but depressing movie. Bjork was fantastic.

I've been curious how it is? It's a decent movie, but to me it seemed too long and drawn out. I did enjoy it though. Also, I really want to see "Body of Lies". Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 02:29 AM) Just stayed up till 3:30 watching "Heat" for the hundredth time. I love 'Heat.' One of my favorite movies. Michael Mann's films typically have a surreal blend of music and atmosphere that has definied him as a director. Although 'Heat' is his greatest work, 'Manhunter' and 'Thief' and great in their own right if you're looking for similar movies. Two great songs featured on the soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVN9LEmvU7c (last minute is the portion featured within the film) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2q7cGKFFWM Edited September 19, 2008 by Flash Tizzle

Steve9347
Personally, I adore Redbox. Screw the cost of Blockbuster (over $5 for one DVD rental in Lombard). Redbox, $1, get any new movies you want, keep em for one night.

Steve9347
If anyone wants an easy chick flick for their wife/significant other, just rent "Made of Honor"... that sh*t was funny, and you'll get points (aka a wet p*ssy) for putting up with it... But I digress...

But I digress... Ha, I had to pay my dues and watch that with the wife last night. The first half of the movie was fine, and then it really dragged. I'll say this though, Kelly Carlson's body in the wedding dress early on is phenomenal.
