New?

The "old" part is fairly new. He has transitioned from playing a active badass to the guy you see in the Gran Torino previews, sitting on the porch complaining about everything. He can still kick alot of ass, but he would rather complain. He played that character to a T in Million Dollar Baby.

I have become a big fan of the movies he directs too

Quarantine?

Mini-review?

Quarantine was pretty cool

The worst part of it was that the previews gave away the ending, other than that I thought it was good

Now that I think of it, this is exactly the type of movie that they'll probably show on the flight tomorrow. It's never anything I'm dying to see.

Funny offshoot story. When I was traveling almost 200k miles a year, I burned and watched alot of movies on my laptop. Usually i am in my own world zoned out because I hate flying, but I packed American Psycho for one of my flights, and as I am watching the chainsaw scene, a lady behind me taps on my shoulder and tells me to turn off the movie because its making her sick.

1. I never realized other people watch the movies I was watching

2. How can you not like that scene? Weird.

Needless to say, I put a little more thought into the movies I packed on flights from then on.

Heh.

I've got a funnier story. A few years back I was doing a lot of traveling for work and on one instance (who am I kidding it was quite often) I brought an adult DVD with me on the trip. A couple of days into my trip I asked the I.T. administrator at the work site to provide some files to me as part of my work. She came back to the office I was working in and handed me a disk and said "go ahead and put this into your laptop and copy the files over". I paused thinking "did I pull that DVD out of the laptop last night????". The DVD had images on the cover that were, needless to say, inappropriate for work. I was flustered and I told her to just go ahead and email the files to me. She replied "Why? They're right here on this disk. Just copy them over." I kept saying that it would just be easier if she emailed them and made up some excuse that I had issues with my disk drive. She looked at me like I was crazy and after a few minutes finally left the room. I'm glad she went for it 'cuz as soon as she left I checked the drive and sure enough the DVD was in there.

Phew!

People watch over your shoulder all the time. I'm always careful of what I play, and also, what I work on while on a plane.

true romance as well.

Brad Pitt says "Hi".

Gandolfini beats the crap out of Alabama than is killed.

Was gonna go see something today but nothing wet my whistle so I went to Hollywood Video to rent something. Haven't been there for awhile and was upset to pull up and see it was vacant, closed, shut down.

I went back to Blockbuster for the first time in 9 years. No joke. I worked there in high school for 2 years, quit cuz I got hosed, than went to HV. It was weird going back into the same store I worked at so long ago. All the VHS tapes were gone. :P

I like his movies, too. The Academy just slobbers all over him, though.

I know they do, but with good reason.

The rumor going around about Gran Torino is that it was supposed to be Dirty Harry's character later in life, but Eastwood denies it.
