Being one of only 4 people in the world that own a Zune I am happy to hear I will get the new firmware uploaded to my generation 1 device when the gen 2 units come out next month. New features include wireless synching. Yippee.

I have a gigabeat... firmware upgrade would be amazing.

Damn straight. I have no problem admitting I am an 8 hour guy. Hell, I would be a no hour guy if I could be.

seriously, if I could spend my time doing what I loved instead of working...life would be great.

I've been doing 10.5 hour days at work for about a month now. I'm wrecked.

IN general, for the past 6 months or so, I've been averaging 13.5 hours from the time I leave the apartment in the morning to the time I come back in at night.

Yeah but you forgot to mention that you somersault all the way to work and back.

That is pretty close to what I do. I leave the house at 4:45 am and get back at about 6 pm.

I wake up at 9:00, sometimes 9:15. If I'm tired on MWF, I'll sleep in till 10 or 10:30. Then I go to class for 3 hours, come back to the dorm, and slave over 3, maybe 4 hours of homework if I'm unlucky, and then sit on my ass and watch TV all night, or if I feel real frisky, go out and get drunk.

Just thought I'd throw my grueling out there

but, it might pay off. :)

Oh, sorry, already said that.

It's way better than the alternative. I thought not working would be a good thing... it's not. Boredom induces insanity.

that must be a woman thing.... I could fill a thousand days of nothing with something, but that's just me.

I hated not working. Even if I won the lottery, I would have to invest into something that would keep me busy. Besides, daytime TV sucks

That's for sure.

I don't think it would be so bad if this was my choice. Laziness and I definitely don't do well together.

I would write a book and finish an album if I weren't working...plus probably run a non-profit or two.

Definately part of the plan for me.

The other thing would be to try and buy a small share of the Sox and get onto the board of directors. That way everyone could call me greedy and stupid!

the boyscouts are outside my branch selling popcorn...

has anyone considered the sexist implications of boy scouts selling popcorn (campfires/masculine) and girl scouts selling cookies (baking/feminine)?

just a thought :D
