WhiteSoxfan1986
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 2, 2007 -> 11:02 AM) A lot of their run differential was lost in a few early season blowups by Weaver and one other pitcher. That being said, the numbers just don't add up.

Gregory Pratt
Remember, that talk about Adam Dunn being traded to the Nationals? I've been told the deal was pretty far along when the Nationals pulled the plug on it. No explanation was given why. But here’s one theory I heard: Jim Bowden never intended to do make a deal. He just strung the Reds along to waste their time. The Reds do still have a grievance pending against the Nationals over the Gary Majewksi episode. fathom
Second straight game where the Mets have played their JV team against the Cubs. With Beltran and LoDuca out, the Mets are also sitting Castillo and Alou. Nothing like letting David Newhan get critical at-bats.

WHarris1
w00t. Surely Cubs fans will blame a close call on the leadoff man for the eventual 4 runs.

knightni
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 3, 2007 -> 11:23 AM) No way that the Nationals/Pirates have that many fans. Athletics have a smaller base than the Giants. Reds area bigger than the Indians is a joke. The Sox have a decent fan area in northern Indiana, Alabama and North Carolina.
