fathom
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Oct 28, 2007 -> 05:52 PM) Danielle manning couldn't follow a trail of breadcrumbs to a ballcarrier. I don't think I've ever seen him take a proper route. He's having one of the poorest games possible. And I don't care what the ref said...that PI was his fault. CWSGuy406
QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 28, 2007 -> 05:53 PM) He's having one of the poorest games possible. And I don't care what the ref said...that PI was his fault. Manning definitely interfered, but what the f*** was Archuleta doing? On the play he ran right at Roy Williams and tried to hit him. He made NO effort whatsoever to make a play on the ball. They should only put Archuleta in on guaranteed run downs as I've never seen anyone so useless against the pass. Can Azumah come out of retirement?
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 28, 2007 -> 12:58 PM) Can Azumah come out of retirement? I'm sure he could, but his neck injury would probably mean we'd see one of those pesky Coroner On The Field delays... Another bad route by a Manning, this time Ricky... JDsDirtySox
Daniel Manning and Adam Archuleta = Worst Starting Safety Combo in the NFL. and on another note... have the Bears intercepted a pass since Week 1 (Mike Brown vs. Chargers)
Gene Honda Civic
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 28, 2007 -> 12:31 PM) Since I'm not in the Chicago area and can't listen to sports radio or read the papers, are people calling for Turner's head yet? 2nd and short isn't a time to run your short yardage offense.. It's a swing for the fences down. Twice we've had 2nd and 2 or less today, once at midfield, once at our own 28... the midfield down was a CB run for 2 yards, the second was inclomplete 2-yard pass the the fullback.. The f***ing fullback On a team with Devin Hester and Bernard Berrian, our 2nd and short calls are going to Benson and McKie. Brilliant! CWSGuy406
How can you not like running play action on second down there... I'm sure that PA fake had the Lions safeties coming three steps in before they realized it wasn't a run. What a complete and utter joke. How many points has the offense scored on the Lions this year that wasn't Devin Hester assisted? It can't be more than ten, right?
whitesoxfan99
Griese and Grossman have made a ridiculous amount of stupid decisions this year. But it would be nice if just once on a jump ball the receiver could you know, go up and make a play, or at least not let the D pick the pass off. fathom
Bernard Berrian is having just a pathetic season. It's shocking how much the fortunes of this franchise has changed in just a few months, especially if there's any truth to Urlacher having an arthritic back condition. Greg The Bull Luzinski
Except for cases in which they play each other, the only way Indy or NE lose a game is if Brady or Manning gets seriously hurt.
CWSGuy406
Fantasy people with Tom Brady -- like me -- have to love how New England continues to pound teams in the second half, even after the opposing team is holding up a white flag. The league I'm in, QB touchdowns/yards aren't worth as much as RB or WR touchdowns/yards, and Brady is still one of the highest point players in the league. This week he even helps by getting into the endzone twice on his feet, three times through the air and throwing for 300.

One of these weeks, there's going to be a moment with 6 minutes left in a game where the Pats are up by 42 and running up the score again, still with Brady in and throwing, and some defensive player is going to get pissed off enough to send a message. Brian
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Oct 28, 2007 -> 10:25 PM) One of these weeks, there's going to be a moment with 6 minutes left in a game where the Pats are up by 42 and running up the score again, still with Brady in and throwing, and some defensive player is going to get pissed off enough to send a message. I like Tom Brady, but maybe this should be done as a message to NE. When they were up 35-0 today and had 4th and 1, they should of been better sports and kicked a FG IMO. But nope, had to go for it, get it, and add a TD. Nobody doubts they are good, but they could handle themselves better.
