The machete was Taylor's. They said he kept one next to his bed for protection and grabbed it when he heard noises in the house.

I think wite's talking about the earlier break-in; supposedly they left a kitchen knife on the bed.

Can't help but wonder about it. Nothing was stolen this time. Doesn't sound like they took anything in the previous break-in.

I watched part of it via SOPcast (it was actually the Armed Forces Network feed).

How well does that work?

The NFL is streaming the game live for free (go to nfl.com/live) -- but, like I said, the video is worthless for me. Maybe if someone has a great connection, I dunno.

Wow TO had a TD but bounced off his hands right to Al Harris.... we got ourselves a ball game.

And the NFL Network stops covering the game. They have the 'studio' people chatting with Rich Eisen on the sidelines the whole time the Packers had the ball. Unf***ingbelievable.

This Gumbel is the most boring announcer I've ever heard. I don't want a cheerleader announcing the game but gosh damn. Plus he tries to add color commentary and that makes things worse. He's awful.

Reminds me of James Brown during the NCAA Tournament. It sounds like they're on a cell phone. Why can't Gus Johnson just announce every game.

He's a joke.

Is it only the online broadcast that is just skipping long portions of the actual game? I can't believe how often they're skipping the ACTUAL GAME to cover their studio guys' inanities. This is one of the most annoying, stupid broadcasts I've ever seen.

It was a little choppy, but watchable. I had it on as background noise mostly. It'd be irritating to watch for 3 hours, though.

who kidnapped Turner... That was a brilliant first drive

I don't care what the conditions are like, if the Bears want to win this game (and their next 5) they're going to have to rely on the arm of Grossman. Peterson isn't going win it for you...

Throw early. Throw often. Run 4 and 5 wide sets, use Hester, Olsen... Find Haas as the 5th guy. Throw 50 times a game. Throw to open up the running game....
