TitoMB345
.597, anyone got any stats on where that ranks in terms of OPS of a starter in the passed few years? Has to be near the cellar. Probably bottom 10 or so.
Brian
Carlos Guillen has 20 errors? Yikes. I knew he wasn't very good out there, but damn. He is reaching Jose Valentin territory.

sweatpants
Following the game on Yahoo. What happened in the Uribe play? Was it bad judgement or was it a good play/recovery?
Kalapse
QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 10:34 PM) .597, anyone got any stats on where that ranks in terms of OPS of a starter in the passed few years? Has to be near the cellar. Probably bottom 10 or so. Of players with atleast 250 PA this season Uribe's .597 OPS is the 7th worst. nick punto, adam everett, omar vizquel, adam kennedy, jason kendall and dioner navarro are all below him. 3E8
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 09:58 PM) Andrew Miller might have nintendo stuff and all. But one point I would like to say, is to take a gander at his motion. He throws across his body in a violent manner. There was this texan who struck out 20 on the northside that used to do that same type of thing. He may be healthy forever. But that motion would scare the hell out of me for the long run. Miller's mechanics are far more sound than Wood's. The guy who will always have problems unless changes are made is Zumaya.
