He has never really seemed to be much of a pinch hitter, can run with Pauly in the race to first, and really doesn't play defense that well. Not only do we get Alomar, but it allows Jimenez to play a role he can excel at. Super sub, utility infielder. There is no sane reason to get rid of Jimenez.
