vandy125
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 02:58 PM) Just wondering if you have been able to hear Hawk the last few innings, or see the zone. Anything a bit over the belt is out of the question with the zone.

No, but someone just told me he's going nuts. Then again, why does it always have to be our announcer going nuts, and never our manager?

Greg The Bull Luzinski
OT, are the Tigers the best team in the AL? In the NL, I don't think anybody will stop the Cubs now that they are rolling. ... there it hurts like hell, but I said it.
fathom
I think Boston's the best team in the AL. Hawk keeps saying it's the Tigers, but then he talks about how the Sox could never be good this year because their bullpen has been bad. The Red Sox bullpen is amazing compared to the Tigers. Well, we know the 3 teams that are the best in the AL. It's just what will the ALCS be? Boston vs. Detroit? Boston vs. LAA? Detroit vs LAA? fathom
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jul 26, 2007 -> 08:07 PM) I have been following the rest of the league a lot closer since the Sox have been out of it, and I still beleive the Braves-Mets-Pads(when Peavy and Young are both healthy) and maybe even the Phils have better squads than the Cubs. Peavy's the type of guy that seems to have to be 100 pct in order to be dominant. If not, he reverts more to being an average pitcher. I love the Phillies right now, but their pitching is just brutal. Their game last night was fun as hell to watch.

Greg The Bull Luzinski
The Twins have also been falling just as hard out of the playoffs as the WHite Sox. I think they are only 5 or 6 games up on us now and getting ready to watch the playoffs from home. The Twins could help somebody.
