Hideaway Lights
Does something like this seem like a familiar post to you? HOW COULD THE TIGERS LOSE THREE OUT OF FOUR TO A s***CAN TEAM LIKE THE WHITE SOX, WHO ARE IN FOURTH PLACE. THIS SEASON IS OVER. THERE IS NO WAY THIS TEAM IS EVER GOING TO WIN THE DIVISION, LET ALONE COMPETE FOR A WORLD SERIES. I'M JUST TOTALLY DONE WITH THIS TEAM. WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS. EAT s***, TIGERS FRONT OFFICE AND OWNERSHIP, YOU REALLY SCREWED US OVER. NO WAY IN HELL SHOULD A TEAM LIKE THIS LOSE THREE OUT OF FOUR TO THE WHITE SOX
claydude14
It's always so sweet to win a Division series. I'd be happy with this season if we just kept playing our division hard and cause them some trouble getting to the post season. Hideaway Lights
of course, the flipside to that post is forthcoming "young, scrappy team..." "finally turning the corner..." "pieces finally falling into place..." "had too much talent on the field not to win a few series..." See what it's like from the other side, fellow white sox fans? witesoxfan
I didn't even know the Sox fielded a team anymore quite frankly. Good to see they can still win a game here or there.

Wanne
Man it would be so sweet to see these guys go on a nice 10-game run here. They're actually showing signs of life...but as soon as you say that...somebody craps the bed.

I would say that Contreras is a stopper for winning streaks right now.

EAT s***, TIGERS FRONT OFFICE AND OWNERSHIP, YOU REALLY SCREWED US OVER. NO WAY IN HELL SHOULD A TEAM LIKE THIS LOSE THREE OUT OF FOUR TO THE WHITE SOX Ha ha, nice post! I would bet their fans are angry at the moment, their bullpen sprung a leak in this series and the Game 2 of the DH must have stung. Today it looked like they had a favorable pitching matchup but the White Sox pitching was good. For the most part, the Tigers fans I've spoken to are pretty realistic, they believe it'll be a neck and neck race with Cleveland to the end. Tigers are sniffing around for bullpen help and have prospects to get something done.

They want to retool the team. Yep, and KW is fed-up with Pods injury issues. On a side note, I hate saying this after a win, because it negates from the actual point, but this was one of Ozzie's best managed games this year. He took Danks out at the perfect time, he put in his closer in a situation to give his team a chance to win the game at home with one run in their last at-bat, and calling for the bunt from Fields.
