SoxFan1
Glover pitched last night and gave up a run. His last appearance wasn JUNE 11! Thats a loooong time between appearances. Hes been there, quiet and respectful, not a complaint the whole time. I respect him for that! BUUUUUUT! He still has to go! Oh well.

What that shows is we've been winning with no blow out losses for Glover.
southsider2k5
Glove needs to work more often to be effective. Of course he sucks when you pitch 3 times in two months.
IlliniKrush
Glove needs to work more often to be effective. Of course he sucks when you pitch 3 times in two months. JM is afraid to use him in close games, and that's all we've been playing lately, so he's not being used. And the more close games we play, the less he gets used, and the confidence in him from JM goes down even more. It's hard to get out of unless you just stick him in there in a critical situation. And if JM does that and Glover gets beat, JM is going to be torched til the cows come home.
Molto
agreed, if you don't pitch, you can't pitch effectively. you know how much pressure is on him to perform knowing he won't be pitching again for another week or two?
upnorthsox
I thought he did alright last night for not having pitched in almost a month, the ump was crowding him.
Jim Fainter
From the beginning of the season through June 10th, he pitched in 18 games, threw 28 innings, and gave up 40 hits. End of story. I would rather give him up than Royce Ring.

He is a long relief man and we have starters going deep in the game most every game.
