Catfish

Yaz

Sam McDowell

Frank Howard

Rocky Calavito

Luis Tiant

Hawk

I think 7 is correct.

What about Brooks Robinson and Don Drysdale? He mentions those guys pretty often too. Well, not so much Brooks since Joe's been hurt.

Yeah, he is sort of what we are all about.

its scary.... but AJP might be the 4th best Catcher in this division....

behind

Mauer

Martinez

and I-Roid

intangible wise.... he is number 1.

I like AJ.. I just don't see him wanting to stick around the rebuild process. ..

Also enter random pitcher most never heard of... Owning him

I actually respect the fact that Hawk hardly glorifies himself when it comes to facing pitchers. He will talk about how he had a good year and this and that, but i rarely hear him say anything to put down pitchers he faced.

I think it would be the consensus that the AL Central has the best collection of catchers in baseball...you know, if people talked about that sort of stuff.

Niether him nor DJ were "great" hitters.. I just find it funny during a game, he will annouce some ramdom pitcher I have never heard off.. owning him.. and looking at the pitchers numbers.. icky

You mean to tell me Jason Kendall, David Ross, Brad Ausmus, Ronny Paulino, and the Fatabulous Henry Blanco don't satisfy the criteria?
