When you have a guy getting a good 12-6 curve over then he can later on use his four seamer high to either set up the pitch, or get someone cheating on the curve to commit for strike 3. So far so good for Gavin. Keep pitching in, and throwing strikes.

24 in '04. Then, 9, 8, and 2 so far... Not really ever been a power hitter.

Any reason our hottest hitter, Dye, is out of this game? Just a scheduled day off or what? Seems to me we need to run him out there as well as he is swining the bat.

 

This OF we have is certainly punch-and-judy stuff.

Oh and I love how Floyd is actually throwing in. I still would like to see him work a bit down in the zone before going up to his high heater (I think it would make it better).

 

Thank you Erstad...you should have made that play cause that was damn near impossible for Richar. Defense continues to f***ing suck for Floyd today.
