Pastime
According to Bruce Levine in Chicago, who is 10 times more accurate than Gammons wishes he could be, KW is looking at Carl Everett. Supposedly, the Rangers are really anxious for pitching and looking to dump payroll, and the Sox are talking to the Rangers as of this very moment. The only concern is Everett's anger management problems. Aaron Rowand might be part of the deal. That's all they reported a minute ago. Sorry I don't have more details. Rowand and a prospect for a better CF would work for me! Well it looks like I kinda of guessed right. I just hope Everett welcomes the trade and stays out of trouble. I just question if he would be able to play CF. If he can't as of today he is an upgrade of Daubach at DH.
Rex Hudler
PLEASE don't make that trade.
Jim Fainter
Gloud would be an upgrade over both Daubach and Rios, and he would not cost anything.
Bmr31
PLEASE don't make that trade. I doubt they do. If they do, the prospect better not be very good.
Joel
Gloud would be an upgrade over both Daubach and Rios, and he would not cost anything. I doubt that. Gload is a carrer minor league, Daubach has hit 20 homers in the majors.

SoxFan1
Rowand and a prospect (not Cotts) for Everett Sounds good! Her's a lineup! Harris-CF Alomar-2B Thomas-1B Maggs-RF Everett-DH Lee-LF Crede-3B Valentin-SS Olivo-C That lineup = WOW!

sox-r-us
I would have Daubach DH and let Everett play CF Imagine a line up as follows: Alomar Valentine Frank Maggs Everett Lee Daubach/Paulie (depending on lefty and righty and historical matchups) Crede Olivo/Sandy Willie Harris and Graffanino for depth
T R U
Uh no SoxFan... It doesnt matter how fast Harris is if he is batting .190 Alomar is a lead off hitter.. I was stating my opinion, I am telling you what he is
mac9001
JM, has already said he'll bat Harris leadoff when he's in the lineup and bat Alomar 2nd.

whitesox247
That trade would be dumb as hell. Why cant KW steer away from guys that get in trouble and guys that dont try? Dont let Everette's numbers fool you, this guy is old and will fall down on his face in the second half.

Bmr31
JM, has already said he'll bat Harris leadoff when he's in the lineup and bat Alomar 2nd. Harris is not going to be in the lineup. The sox are going out and getting a CF.
