mac9001
Harris is not going to be in the lineup. The sox are going out and getting a CF. I know, that's why i said "when he's in the lineup" I don't expect to see much of him, if any.
greg775
How old is Everett? I don't want to become the Baltimore Orioles of a few years ago and have aging stiffs on the team.

Rex Hudler
Everett has been a stud this year .... go get him....come playoff time, we will need to hit against Seattle, Yanks, Bo Sox, As pitching Stud? You mean as in the .211 he hit for the month of June? Did I mention 19 strikeouts in June as well??
Joel
How old is Everett? I don't want to become the Baltimore Orioles of a few years ago and have aging stiffs on the team. Little overboard there. Even if Evevertt is 35 or older we would only have 5 guys that age or older. Frank, Alomar, Gordon, Everett, and Alomar.
greg775
I say forget the Everett deal unless we give up nobody. He's too old.
CWSOX45
Is it true that the deal may be done by tonight? If so I expect Rowand will not be starting. CWSOX45

Everett started off red hot with 14 homers and a .300 average for the first three months and have done s*** since then. And his attitude rumors dont help, so KW, please dont get ripped off once again.

SoxFan1
You are pretty right. Its not like we need a power bat. We hit 5 homeruns yesterday! We need a CF, who can play GOOD defense, and bat for average. Didnt we have a guy like that! What was his name, Lofton!
mac9001
Yeah, too bad Loften didn't hit for average or play good defense.

SoxRule
HSC, if you're referring to Lowell, the Marlins have already come out and said that he will not be traded. Unless they were just lying to everyone.

whitesox247
Maybe if KW picked up some REAL free agents (Cruz Jr, Grissom, Orlando Palmeiro etc.) instead of that piece of crap Rios, we wouldnt have to go scampering around trading away our good prospects. Rex Hudler
HSC, the Marlins came out this afternoon and declared that Mike Lowell will not be traded and will end the season in Florida. Yes, things can change, but by that statement, I would see it fair to believe that any potential deal with the Sox is no more. There would be NO reason for the Marling GM to make statements like that today, if he was talking to teams about dealing him soon.
