danman31
Brian Anderson and Dye have a ton of songs and Anderson's taste in music sucks. Conor Jackson has fall out boy and dem franchize boys, heck of a combo. I've become a fan of "Can't Be Stopped" by Roy Jones Jr. It's a good intro song. SoxFan1
Armando Benitez and Bobby Crosby And you can tell Rob Mackowiak is from the South Side. BTW, Huston Street =
whitesoxfan101
HA Mackowiak's list is freaking awesome and does give away his roots, and it doesn't even include his most prominent AB song from this year "This Is Why I'm Hot" by Mims which is pretty good and a show of personal confidence, or last years song, which brings me to my next point. Mack's AB song last year, which was the legendary Grandmaster Flash jam "The Message", is my all time favorite personalized song for any athlete ever. That was OUTSTANDING that he had the balls to pull it out as his AB song in 2006, and it's a great song too. But all his songs listed there are great too. Then again, now as I think about it, "Check Yo Self" by Ice Cube had the same beat as The Message, but they never got to the lyrics when Rob came up, so it could be either, and that explains the wikipedia reference to the Ice Cube jam only. But now I'm thinking too hard. Edited August 8, 2007 by whitesoxfan101

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 8, 2007 -> 10:27 PM) legendary Grandmaster Flash jam "The Message", is my all time favorite personalized song for any athlete ever. Yep, I put together a compilation of instrumentals from 1982-1986, and that's the first track on the disc. Mack ain't all there, but he has his moments. Kinda like you, bro. HA just as I posted that, I remembered the Ice Cube song it lists for Rob uses the beat from "The Message". But they never played the lyric part when Rob batted, so it could be either actually. And yeah, I'm working on walking the fine line between genius and insanity. I got a lot of work to do, to say the least. Although to be fair, it lists "this is why i'm cold" as another of his songs listed on wiki, which could explain why "this is why i'm hot" isn't there. But "This is why i'm cold" really is bad, lol. hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Aug 8, 2007 -> 10:34 PM) HA just as I posted that, I remembered the Ice Cube song it lists for Rob uses the beat from "The Message". least. That's the one that DJ Muggs produced It's basically the same exact instrumental track, except that it has Das Efx in the refrain. I hate Ice Cube, but I have purchased a lot of his early singles just for the instrumentals, particularly the Bomb Squad era stuff (Public Enemy production crew). There are no NWA instrumentals outside of "Straight Outta Compton" and "Express Yourself". I have a compilation of looped beats from their first album, but it's not the same. SoxFan1
I'm a it surprised to see no DMX on there. He usually comes up with some really hyped up songs. I was most surprised to see Backstreet Boys on there. You're the man Bobby Crosby. Someone should really have "Just Like You Imagined" from Nine Inch Nails aka the song from the "300" trailer.
