Gregory Pratt
Here in my office, we've been hearing and seeing several low-flying military jets flying over downtown heading north/northwest. Are they blue angels? Or what?
Buehrle>Wood
I assume you mean the Air Show practice. Thunderbirds are this year I thought.
Soxbadger
Its hard to tell because there are a large variety of aircraft. When I was out at lunch about 1 pm it sounded like F-14's.
Gregory Pratt
Yeah, it's practice for Air Show. A friend said, "Must be Blue Angels" but not this year.

They do every other year. I wish I worked downtown this time of year. Hopefully the weather doesn't ruin the weekend.
kapkomet
The place I work is RIGHT off a runway that the Blue Angels will be flying at in October. And I do mean RIGHT off the runway (I can just about spit on it). The cool thing is we get a "private party" for the air show. It will be fun. No, no, I'm not sure I'm one to b**** about taxes or the size of taxes, but I have an issue with the government spending thousands of dollars to find out why bugs have sex or to put on a stupid air show. RockRaines
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Aug 16, 2007 -> 04:10 PM) No. You should see my tax sheet especially when they send out increase notices and break down what the extra money is going towards. our taxes are ridiculous. And thats not counting the 10 percent sales tax that we deal with everyday.
