SouthsideNorthsideFan
QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Sep 24, 2007 -> 06:27 AM) I might be the only one but I still have some faith, I'm surprisingly comfortable in this last week of the season. The Cubs haven't beat the Marlins, in what, 2 years? Swept them this year already, and at least once last year. Meanwhile St. Louis should be a cakewalk for Mil, I can see this back in .5 GB after 3 games. Then it gets tough with SD, but the Cubs are never great in Cincy, especially when it's a must win, and you never know with San Diego, they just got swept by Col. That could happen!!! That's exactly what I've been sayin' for a week, and all I'm getting is "naaa..."
fathom
Dunn's out for the Reds the rest of the year. Their lineup went from having Hamilton, Griffey Jr, and Dunn to having Norris, Votto, and Ellison.
Jordan4life_2007
Cubs losing once again to the Marlins 7-4. Brewers losing 3-2 in the 6th. They (the Brewers) better get going soon.
Brian
My mom, a Cards fan, is at Miller Park. I keep texting her stuff like, "You're ruining it!" She is kinda hoping Milwaukee wins but won't say it.
CWSGuy406
Both teams have four games remaining after this, correct? If so, I'd say this is a 'must-win' for the Brewers. Can't lose to a team that has Ryan Ludwick batting fifth.
Jordan4life_2007
If the Brewers can't be Brad Thompson and the the Cards' 'b' lineup (save for Pujols), then they don't deserve it. What a horrible loss this would be. Still 3 innings to go.
fathom
Brewers should have put the game away early, as they had bases loaded twice in the first 2 innings. Seems like the Brewers have warning track power tonight.
Jordan4life_2007
Still 3-2 going into the 8th. What a joke. I'm starting to feel like fathom now. I didn't expect the Marlins to do what they're doing to the Cubs. The Brewers must take f***ing advantage.
WHarris1
I have faith the Brewers will pull this out.

fathom
I wonder how much the Brewers have been outscored in the 8th and 9th inning over the last 3 months. I can't believe they're leaving Turnbow in to walk the world. He's one of the easiest pitcher in baseball to see throw a few pitches and realize if he has it or not that night. Holy s***, take him out of the game. It's great hearing their fans boo....why not pull him after the first pitch wasn't even close? WHarris1
f***ing dumbass Turnbow walks in a run with KELLY STINNETT AT THE PLATE. Dips*** pisses on all our dreams.

WHarris1
And the Brewers lose an absolute must win. The Cubs are choking in Cubs fashion, but the Brewers just suck too much dick. fathom
f***ing Brewers....now losing 6-2. Yost honestly is the worst manager in the history of baseball.
Brian
Looks like the Padres are just laughing their ass off on the talent they got back for the overrated Linebrink. Looked pretty good striking out the side in the 7th.

Brian
QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 26, 2007 -> 09:35 PM) f***ing Brewers....now losing 6-2. Here's the thing that pisses me off....they probably would have kept him in, but they wanted McClung to hit Pujols. Their fans are about to riot though...good for them. I still don't understand why Pujols is playing this week. I hear that. I got tired of them crying over Oswalt missing his start. Pujols can barely run to 1st.
