I just looked at the standings and it's like bizarro world in our conference.

Yep, Stevenson and Libertyville are not very good. Warren beat Libertyville last night. Lake Zurich is very good. Lake Forest is even good.

Ha Ha @ Stevenson!

:(

So it looks like we'll miss the playoffs in the first time since...? Been a long time.

EDIT: So Brian, Libertyville and Warren are 1-2 and Stevenson is 0-3? Wow. Nutso, never thought I'd see that.

Yup. It happens. Those 3 schools will be back next year, especially Warren. Have a sophmore running back on varsity who is very good.

Stevenson will miss the playoffs for the first time in 18 years.

Stevenson has the weakest fans ever. Didn't hear s*** from them all game. LZ's student section doubled Stevenson's and Stevenson was at home! Go Bears!

Brilliant chant after the game from LZ fans, "Go Home Steven-son!", not realizing the game was indeed AT Stevenson.

Not local for you guys, but interestingly a couple of long winning streaks came to and end recently. Independance High school in North Carolina had their 109 game win streak snapped by Cincinatti Elder two weeks ago, and Southlake Carrol in Texas had their 49 game win streak snapped yesterday by Miami Northwestern.

So after getting a national top 10 ranking, St. Rita has tailed off and now stands at 1-3 in the CLB. Granted, it's probably one of the better conferences in America and none of those losses should be conisdered bad, it's still funny to see them fall so hard.

Yeah, St. Rita is still a very good team. Any other conference and they maybe undefeated.

Rowand, STEVENSON VS. WARREN next Friday night!!!! Both teams in playoffs. Patriots have won 5 in a row.

What a classic, Wheaton Warrenville South and Naperville North, who are inarguably 2 of the top teams in the state met as 8-0 squads and the favorites in 7A and 8A, respectively. It's a shame WWS is 7A and NN is 8A this year, be great to see them play again in the playoffs. Anyways, WWS keeps their winning streak alive with a 42-41 home win over NN in triple OT.

Oh, and Warren defends it's home turf by beating Stevenson 35-27. Sorry Rowand.

How you like me now, Justin? Booyah!

Both teams in the playoffs.

Well you and Warren still suck. :)

And yay for playoffs, I don't know a lot about this team but it's pretty impressive for them to get in after that start. Well done Mitz.

Well Warren and Stevenson are in trouble, that's what hapens when you go 6-3 and 5-4 though. Warren has to play at Loyola, whose only 2 losses were a tight 20-17 loss at Providence and another tight 31-24 loss at home to Mt. Carmel, the consensus #1 team in the state regardless of class. Meanwhile, Stevenson gets to play at Fremd, who went 9-0 and most noteably in that stretch handed Lake Zurich it's only loss all season, and also happened to do it on the road, and Fremd has a 30 game winning streak in their conference.

Pssh, no problem. ;) We'll probably get blown out but with a down year like this it's just nice to keep the playoff streak alive.
