BearSox
this great falls team looks like a fun team to watch down 7-6 now after being down 7-0 early. I wish instead of getting the White Sux games broadcasted, we could get to see these games instead.
DBAHO
Not DLS's best outing this season. Very nice outing for Broadway though. Needs to be more consistent however, as he's had his share of good and bad starts this season.
GoodAsGould
good to see Shelby and Gomes finishing strong and Carter while not on fire still doing his thing.... cant wait to see those 3 and DLS all in W-S next year and some of them hopefully in Birminham at some point
Flash Tizzle
QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 26, 2007 -> 08:26 PM) Not DLS's best outing this season. Very nice outing for Broadway though. Needs to be more consistent however, as he's had his share of good and bad starts this season. Hopefully starts such as these are rare with DLS. He's incredibly valuable to the future of the White Sox. The most important prospect, IMO, and one where production and/or health can't fall off one bit. We need him to anchor future rotations and match other starters within the division. That's right -- I have high expectations. Him and Gio are the class of the organization. Edited August 27, 2007 by JPN366
BigEdWalsh
Just to wind things up with the completed games, Great Falls lost 7-6 but in exciting fashion. Trailing by a run at home in the bottom of the 9th, Greg Paiml lead off with a single. C. J. Retherford followed with a double to right but Paiml was nailed at the plate. Speedy Steven Turner ran for Retherford. Mollenhauer grounded out, Turner advancing to 3rd. But, Sanchez grounded out to SS to end the game. Leroy Hunt (3.86) had 3 solid innings of relief: 3 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 3 K http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...helrok_grfrok_1 Bristol was shutout 1-0 in the second game of their double-header. They managed but 1 run all day. Infante: (L, 2-3, 4.01): 4 IP, 3 H 1 ER, 1 BB, 0 K Logan Johnson: 1-2, 2B http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...brirok_brlrok_2
Flash Tizzle
Here's one of MInnesota's draft picks from June pitching in rookie ball: http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/st...&pid=518999 So, should I just assume -- even at this level -- he'll be the next Minnesota Twins pitching stud?
